I don’t really know why, but this picture cheered me up this morning.
Camilla getting her Jack Russell to unveil a plaque looks like the sort of silly thing most of us dog lovers might do, and takes away the rather nonsensical formality of an unveiling.
unveiling.
Liking Camilla more and more!

Oops- should have checked sorry about the repetition blush

Love it!!!! smile

lemongrove Thu 10-Dec-20 09:46:01

?That’s great, the look on the dog’s face!

Niobe Thu 10-Dec-20 09:55:47

I really like Camilla too. People who know her have always said what a nice person she is and her wee Jack Russell is a rescue dog so it’s entirely appropriate that she helped with the unveiling.

FannyCornforth Thu 10-Dec-20 09:55:49

Aah, I love Camilla! tchsmile
Poor choice in men though...

Ellianne Thu 10-Dec-20 09:56:19

The nice thing is that he is rescued dog from Battersea isn't he?
Good on her!

FannyCornforth Thu 10-Dec-20 09:56:42

She's got the same lead as us! tchgrin

Ellianne Thu 10-Dec-20 09:56:51

X post Niobe!

merlotgran Thu 10-Dec-20 10:14:01

I can't imagine not having a Jack Russell in my life.

Nice one, Camilla. tchgrin

Jaberwok Thu 10-Dec-20 10:25:14

What a brilliant photo. I like Camilla too and think she is a great asset to the RF particularly P.C. I like her choice in men too! No doubt I'll get sneered at or ridiculed, but I like PC, I know he's a bit stuffy (?) maybe, but I think he's a good man and with Camilla by his side, will make a good king

Callistemon Thu 10-Dec-20 11:01:43

What a great photo!
Well done Beth
(named after her Granny?)

FannyCornforth Thu 10-Dec-20 11:28:04

Jaberwok I think that's a lovely post.
It's always best to see the good in people.

sodapop Thu 10-Dec-20 12:25:35

Great pic, I think Camilla adopted two JR's from Battersea. tchsmile

We miss our JR so much merlotgran they are such characters, larger than life.

Jaberwok Thu 10-Dec-20 12:56:33

Than you FannyCornforth, that was really nice of you. I get so used to being pulled down on these threads that I get a bit nervous about going against the flow! ?✨?

merlotgran Thu 10-Dec-20 13:04:58

I think they're a great partnership as well, Jaberwok

Urmstongran Thu 10-Dec-20 13:07:45

Great photo!

At the risk of becoming boringly repetitive today I do want to share this one with you all. It makes me smile every time I look at it.

I love the tiny puppy in the manger and the eyes of the terrier in the green towel!

twinnytwin Thu 10-Dec-20 13:11:22

When I first sort it in the paper I laughed out loud at the dog's face. Nice way to start the day.

Ellianne Thu 10-Dec-20 13:16:07

Funny picture Urmstongran. My vote goes to the golden retriever with the blue striped towel.
Hang on shouldn't a shepherd be an alsatian (GS) or a border collie?
Imposters!

SueDonim Thu 10-Dec-20 13:25:50

They’re all cute! Such appealing faces.

We were once on the same flight as Camilla and her coat looked as though a dog had used it as a bed and then decided it was too scruffy to use any more. grin

merlotgran Thu 10-Dec-20 14:26:53

My favourite Jack Russells. Millie, in the middle - sadly we had to say goodbye to her this time last year, her daughter Peggy on the left and Peggy's brother, Gloster who is living with DGS1 and well beyond his 5yr warranty. grin

mokryna Thu 10-Dec-20 15:37:27

The dog was used for the right situation which made everyone smile. Happy times

Jaberwok Thu 10-Dec-20 15:46:04

I love these dogs, (and Camilla) for making us smile in these somewhat gloomy times.?

NotTooOld Thu 10-Dec-20 15:51:43

Agree with jaberwok. I also think Camilla and PC seem like a nice couple. I think she may as well be queen when he becomes king.

Lucretzia Thu 10-Dec-20 15:56:05

I do like Camilla

And I love their choice of dog

We've had JR's over the years. I have one sat by me right now as I type. Also a rescue who has been the most wonderful addition to our family.

Mine is a dead ringer for Camilla's and would have acted in exactly the same way

Great picture. Thanks for posting smile
