Karen Geier, nasty or naive?

I was appalled at this woman’s tweet regarding HRH Prince Phillip.
Is she nasty or just naive?
Whatever you think about him the D of E scheme has helped and supported so many young people.
I think this is a nasty attention seeking woman who misjudged the mood of the country.

I know, it’s frustrating.

People want it to be true so believe it. I note however the Mail has changed its angle now so its story is the Guardian’s denial rather than other peoples lies/ deliberate misinformation.

I only saw this article in the Guardian.

She has had an article printed by them, I believe. Five years ago.

She sounds very juvenile.

I doubt you will, anno. She’s got fewer followers on Twitter than my local council. And she makes them look interesting.

There have always been nasty people around who choose to say nasty things about people in the news or their neighbours and people like this will continue to be with us.

The best thing to do is ignore them.
