The early evening news has just reported that the cautionary advice to boil water has been lifted as further tests showed it to be safe.

Good news- are you denying that

a) raw sewage has been illegally dumped by private water companies all along the SE coast?

b) and that their stored chemicals are about to run out.

so far... pheew, so good.

water companies should NOT be allowed to let raw sewage get into the water system- especially at the time when chemicals for water treatment are becoming in short supply.

I don't know why you'd say that Lincslass. I have family in France and have spent much time there over many decades and have always been made completely welcome by the French people I've met.

That does sound paranoid. I think it's true that the French govenment see our government as a bad actor when it comes to keeping their word or sticking to agreements (that would be because they don't). I doubt they spend their time loving or not loving our country and the people in it. That would be obsessive, wouldn't it.

But other countries surely spend every waking moment thinking about us don’t they? Because we’re SO important….
