An extract from a News report:

Meghan yesterday apologised to a court for not telling a judge about emails showing her attempts to influence a biography about her and Prince Harry, saying: “I forgot.”

I wonder what else she forgot?!!

They are turning out to be a very calculating couple. Having no conscience and using any topical subject to keep the public engaged, and themselves in the limelight.
In this case will there be any actual consequence to M lack of memory? Or just more press coverage discussing it?

trisher Sat 13-Nov-21 11:42:38

Well I would imagine Thomas Markle was being well paid for his interview. Giving interviews criticising his daughter seems to be his main income source now. You do wonder how he would manage if they just faded into the background.

Josianne Sat 13-Nov-21 11:44:43

Did you see the interview trisher? Just asking?

eazybee Sat 13-Nov-21 11:44:43

As someone with no relatives other than my adult children I find it really sad that their two children have no contact with any family other than Doria.

Ha, well spotted Miss Marple!
I had problems with adverts covering the message box etc.
Tried an adblocker (followed instructions from a poster on here) but messed up everything including my email account, so deleted my GN account and started again but couldn't use the same username.
I still get adverts blocking the top and bottom quarter of the page!

I blame Meghan.

Namsnanny Sat 13-Nov-21 11:45:35

Best way with mis spelling names, is to ignore. It's either a genuine mistake, or a dig. Either way it had no power if ignored.

Calistemon Sat 13-Nov-21 11:45:44

That post was to Josianne

Josianne Sat 13-Nov-21 11:46:55

grin
My time working for the police was not wasted then Callistemon!

Namsnanny Sat 13-Nov-21 11:47:47

Seriously trisher 11.42? I hope he was paid as well as his daughter, although I doubt it.

Pantglas2 Sat 13-Nov-21 11:49:17

There goes a flying pig ?. AGA ?

Strange that Scobie had the exact same memory lapse over the briefing...

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 13-Nov-21 11:52:13

I hope he does make money from his interviews, indeed I expect he does. It’s refreshing to hear the other side of this unsavoury coin.
I doubt M will be charged with perjury as that would require proof that she deliberately made an untruthful statement or one she did not believe to be true. If the evidence were there I’d be the first to cheer. But I hope she loses the appeal and will have to repay the damages she was awarded.
I wish Harry’s dukedom would be confiscated but I suppose he will always be a prince and therefore she a princess so they will always be able to trade on that. She certainly knows how to behave like a princess.

Anniebach Sat 13-Nov-21 11:57:47

She isn’t a princess, just as Diana wasn’t a princess or Sophia isn’t a princess

Josianne Sat 13-Nov-21 12:00:53

Not even by marriage Anniebach?
It says Princess on Archie's birth certificate under Meghan.

lemongrove Sat 13-Nov-21 12:03:31

Anniebach

Horrid to Harry ? Is asking him to make contact with his father in law horrid ?

No it isn’t Annie indeed, it’s rather nice of them, but Meg says they ‘berated poor Harry.’
It’s her mission to make him a victim ( along with herself.)

Calistemon Sat 13-Nov-21 12:04:44

I know it's spelt wrong!

Smileless2012 Sat 13-Nov-21 12:05:00

I hope he makes some money too GSM, they're making enough frotm peddling their false truths and memory lapses aren't they.

I wish his dukedom would be confiscated too then she wont be able to push herself forward as a duchess.

nanna8 Sat 13-Nov-21 12:06:03

She is showing her true colours. Pity, because at the wedding she seemed as though she would be good for that family. She actually couldn’t be worse.

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 13-Nov-21 12:07:33

She’s (unfortunately) a princess by marriage. After her divorce Diana was Diana, Princess of Wales so I expect if H and M were to divorce (bring it on!) they’d cobble together some sort of title for her. Perhaps Princess Harry like Princess Michael?

Germanshepherdsmum Sat 13-Nov-21 12:08:05

Spot on nanna.

Smileless2012 Sat 13-Nov-21 12:10:19

No nanna there's nothing wrong with M it's the entire RF that's at faultgrin.

tickingbird Sat 13-Nov-21 12:15:44

I should think TM will manage just fine if H & M fade into the background. However H & M would struggle without Daddy’s money and trading off their Royal connections.

TM spent a lottery win of $750,000, filed for bancruptcy and was living on the breadline in Mexico when H&M married. He made money from photos before the wedding. He has no other income. So how would he manage?

Urmstongran Sat 13-Nov-21 12:51:10

Perhaps his other daughter would bung him a few dollars from the sale of her up coming ‘tell all’ book?

Anniebach Sat 13-Nov-21 12:53:58

Diana was never princess Diana, not one who married a prince
is a princess , Camilla, Sarah, Sophia, the media refer to princess Diana it’s not correct.

The Queen mother wasn’t a princess

Camilla is princess of Wales but not princess Camilla

Josianne Sat 13-Nov-21 12:58:26

Apart from Doria, they are all a family who likes to put it out there for whatever reasons. The sad cost of it all is losing a father, daughter, sister, brother. The concern is that Harry is going that way too with his interviews and books which criticise and alienate the royal family. I think that maybe he has more to lose in the long run.
