How can an individual stoop so low to want to bomb a maternity hospital?
I am talking, in this instance, of The Women's Hospital in Liverpool.

^Christians don't usually bomb maternity hospitals and try to kill innocent people.^

No, in some people's world view only Muslims do that. Getting close to the edge Chestnut.

What edge? If you have evidence to the contrary please share and back up this nonsense.

Mr Hitchcott, a former lay minister at Liverpool Cathedral, previously expressed concern about asylum seekers pretending to convert to bolster their visa applications.

But he believes Almeni was genuine and would 'talk endlessly and passionately about Jesus'.

There is no reason to suggest that Al Swealmeen's conversion from Islam was not genuine, and sources stressed his baptism was not a factor in his repeated asylum claims.

Even the Daily Mail thinks so.

When I wrote upthread about how anyone could want to plant a bomb anywhere I was thinking as well about the IRA murderers who planted bombs, watched until their targets, live people, were in place, then calmly detonated the device from a safe distance, and lived to receive a comfort letter to ensure their immunity from prosecution.

You said this person was not a real Christian.

Can you see into his heart?

His actions prove that he was not a Christian.

Alegrias1 Fri 19-Nov-21 13:23:16

I knew that would happen.

Sorry, but I did.

I posted but it has not appeared. Try again.

True Muslims do not do that, either, Alegrias. How dare you insinuate that they do.

As usual, taunting other posters and close to the edge, Alegrias.

Alegrias1 Fri 19-Nov-21 13:29:11

Calistemon you know very well that I am not insinuating that. I would have thought it was beneath a poster like you to suggest it. We may disagree on many things but you are generally fair and to suggest this is not like you at all.

Please read again what I said, No, in some people's world view only Muslims do that. I find what you have said very disappointing.

I don't think it was anything to do with this man's religion; that's a red herring. He had mental health problems when he lived in Jordan, long before he came to the UK and he'd received treatment at various hospitals for that. I think that his poor mental health, coupled with his failed applications for asylum, were what tipped him over the edge. As to whether he'd have carried out his terrorist attack if he had been granted asylum; we'll never know.

Does a Christian hold hatred in his / her heart ?

It's true that IRA bombers were supposed Christians but their cause was the issue and just like we see today they were prepared to kill innocent people to achieve their aims. Their cause completely wiped out any Christian values. This applies to anyone who kills in the name of religion because no religion supports murdering innocent people. They use religion as a reason and a cloak for their evil actions.
