This makes me very angry. I saw some conservative MP (peter Clarke ?) interviewed and he said Boris is a good PM but that he would always vote against ANY Public health bill which imposed restrictions( even just mask wearing) Why ? I just don’t understand

Reading through the list, pleased to see my MP voted for this measure.

Well, two women have been ousted in the past, because it's a male now, it won't make any difference to those who are rebelling. His days are numbered.

Well, it’s a good thing that Labour voted with (the c***) government to do the right thing, isn’t it? They could afford to vote against the government knowing this.

I’ll bet the vast majority of the Tory MPs will vote with the government on the new Human Rights and Immigration bills though!

Yes - “around 100 Tory MPs rejected Covid passes, as too authoritarian but are fine with banning protests, removing citizenship without notice, and disenfranchising millions of people with voter ID”

It's very worrying that the government cannot rely on the support of its own MPs to get through basic public health measures to restrict the spread of Covid. I fail to understand their thinking, apart from the fact that they want the PM to take note of their dissatisfaction with him. Why would you not take notice of the advice from senior health officials who have informed government policy? Governments sometimes have to take unpopular decisions, you would think that MPs have the intelligence enough to understand that? The very time we need a stable government we find a gaping hole. I have checked and my own MP has supported the government in this instance. It must be about the first time that we have agreed on anything.
