He seems to have disappeared.

I have lost all respect for Johnson and in fact the Tory party and really I think there is hypocrasy right across government. I’m so disappointed with them all and worried for our country.
Who can say how any of them would have tackled this virus but it’s the parties and lying about them that is disgraceful. In May 2020 we broke rules by having our son and his partner and our little autistic grandson over. Our poor little grandson was in such a state after being kept out of our lives for 2 months. They’d all just recovered from Covid so we thought enough is enough we can’t be parted any longer. We admit we broke the rules but I’m not making them and telling everyone what to do. It makes me so upset and I’m a Tory voter but not sure I will be any more!

I was brought up on The Boy Who Cried Wolf Parsley! It certainly comes to mind.

I think much of the impression many have of BJ is what has been created by the MSM. The images of him in silly poses or with odd faces. They are obviously trawling for the least flattering.
The same goes for lies. Most of the ‘so called’ lies are more often mis-information than blatant lies as we had with weapons of mass destruction. Do not forget he ‘supposedly’ has researchers and private secretaries for his direct speech creation and government ministers supposedly updating him with correct information.
There is no doubt this guy has high functioning Aspergers, his demeanour and communication are typical. He also has a strong tendency to try and please sometimes saying things to please rather than the reality, and this is why he is often at odds with hard line Conservatives.

Blimey one thing that I wouldn’t say is that Johnson has Asperger’s.

Johnson is well known for his charm and good communication skills.

The fact that much of it is lies is by the by.

Sociopath perhaps Asperger certainly not.

I’m with Whitewave - nothing about Johnson suggests Aspergers. Everything suggests an inability to focus on detail, addictive, impulsive, self rewarding behaviours. Some people may think he has a narcissistic personality

ADHD?

Baggs Thu 20-Jan-22 13:41:39

That's a real question, btw. I know bugger all about ADHD but BJ does seem.... chaotic.

Iam64 Thu 20-Jan-22 13:46:28

Well spotted Baggs

Of course it was the MSM.

I mean the public never saw him for years on Have I Got News For You exhibiting the same traits, did they? (big eye roll) Or contemporary (not trawled for to discredit him) press photos and accounts of his clownish stunts and behaviour while Mayor of London?

His lies are not misinformation, they are LIES. They are very well documented, usually accompanied by the truth which proves they are lies. There has even been a book published which details his lies. He was sacked from jobs for lying.

Are you qualified to diagnose 'high functioning Aspergers'?

I think that Sociopath is much nearer the mark...

GrannyGravy13 Thu 20-Jan-22 13:56:46

The whole of the U.K. knew what/who Mr.Johnson was, yet the Conservatives elected him their leader and then the Country elected him as PM.

Which goes to show how little support or trust Mr. Corbyn garnered. Can Mr. Starmer do better at the polling booth? we shall have to wait and see.

FannyCornforth Thu 20-Jan-22 13:59:00

He’s a narcissist. I do know that.

The chaos that surrounds him is because all the normal life; family commitments; appearance etc stuff is way beneath him.
He is far more important to be troubled with all that, and things like the truth and decency.

But moreover he is a product of his childhood and father especially.

He is a very damaged and dangerous person. It has been blindingly obvious to many for a long time.

Nowt to do with ASD at all.

GillT57 Thu 20-Jan-22 15:08:20

Not if you have principles and backbone. It seems I should presume you have neither. An unnecessarily rude comment Baggs. As I have been told by Johnson supporters 'tackle the ball, not the player'.

Lucca Thu 20-Jan-22 16:40:27

Not ADHD please. My DGS and my son (diagnosed just this year…) are. They are delightful and truthful and empathetic.

Sarnia Thu 20-Jan-22 16:42:56

He's in Pizza Express with Andrew. wink

FannyCornforth Thu 20-Jan-22 18:08:35

Absolutely. It’s a ridiculous thing to say (Happy Birthday Lucca)

Iam64 Thu 20-Jan-22 18:37:08

Lucca - thankfully adhd is now better recognised and children get less negativity at school. One of my grandsons explained to me aged 7 why he was again outside the head teachers office - I did x, it’s called disruptive behaviour.
Childrrn and adults with adhd are like the rest of us, all different. My grandson and son in law are like your grandson, delightful truthful and empathic

Mr Johnson on the other hand ……

growstuff Thu 20-Jan-22 18:44:18

I agree with others. No way does Johnson have Aspergers. He is a narcissist and possibly has sociopathic traits, but his behaviour is more than likely a result of his upbringing.

Iam64 Thu 20-Jan-22 18:52:22

It’s almost impossible to discuss Johnson’s behaviour without analysing what contributes to it. His childhood, parental ‘care’ during his developmental years, off to boarding school at an early age - no wonder our country is in a mess with a PM and many of the Conservative mp’s with similar backgrounds.

Thanks ! I’ve no idea how I suddenly got to be 72…

JenniferEccles Thu 20-Jan-22 23:29:30

Has no one mentioned that the PM’s 5 week old baby daughter has been pretty poorly with covid recently?
He and Carrie must have been worried sick about her, on top of all the recent revelations.

I feel as cross and let down as everyone else about these alleged parties, but a little sympathy for the PM under the circumstances wouldn’t go amiss.

Callistemon21 Thu 20-Jan-22 23:57:45

As it hadn't been on the news I doubt that many people knew.
I hope the baby is ok, our little girl.

Callistemon21 Thu 20-Jan-22 23:58:24

Not our

Poor little girl

MayBee70 Fri 21-Jan-22 00:03:12

And yet, when his baby daughter has been very sick with covid he decides to lift covid protection measures.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 21-Jan-22 08:14:40

Because Johnson is such a liar I find myself wondering if the story about the baby having covid is true, though lying about your child’s health would be despicable. It was very convenient for him to be isolating when difficult questions were being asked because ‘a family member’ had covid. Why not say then that it was the baby? Why keep it quiet?

Lucca Fri 21-Jan-22 08:18:23

That would be too much, anyway Carrie would not have let him lie about that
