Michael heseltine is spot on. Old style conservative with intelligence and integrity. IMHO of course,

Jane71 Sat 29-Jan-22 19:55:26

Old Style Conservative and One Nnation Tory is so passe though Lucca. Its right wing Tory now.
Heseltine was always a very strong European, and probably the best leader the Tories never had, IMHO.

grannyrebel7 Sat 29-Jan-22 20:06:00

Yes old Tarzan was a good Tory.

Marydoll Sat 29-Jan-22 20:07:59

I am not a fan of the Tories, but I have always had the greatest respect for Michael Heseltine. In my opinion, he would have made an excellent Prime Minister.

Jaberwok Sat 29-Jan-22 20:19:31

Michael Hesseltine is very miffed at losing his very substantial agricultural subsidy from the EU. A very wealthy landowner and not really a person subsidies should be for. Obnoxious man in every sense.

Urmstongran Sat 29-Jan-22 20:23:21

Heseltine voted Remain.
‘Nuff said.

Remain voters often said (in the past) that the referendum was ‘fraudulent’.
Cited Russian influence.

This was debunked. They should get over themselves.

Kali2 Sat 29-Jan-22 20:27:32

Debunked?!? Where? When?

You won, fraudulently, get over it- and take responsibility!

Urmstongran Sat 29-Jan-22 20:35:42

It was debunked Kali2. Check it out.

I’m happy to own Brexit. ??

Kali2 Sat 29-Jan-22 20:36:36

Urmstongran Sat 29-Jan-22 20:38:49

GrannyGravy13 Sat 29-Jan-22 21:02:13

GrannyGravy13 Sat 29-Jan-22 21:03:26

Blame the folks who could not be bothered to get off of their backsides to vote, not the ones that did!!!!!!

Oldnproud Sat 29-Jan-22 21:05:49

I think so, GrannyGravy13 grin

"It's behind you", cry all the Brexiters!

Oh but I did vote, many of us here on GN did! Many who voted for Brexit have now come donw with a bump, and have the grace to say they were conned. Respect for them.

Pantomime indeed- never seen the like!
