What a load of rubbish, do you actually believe he organised the parties or was it civil servants who are mostly remainers and still trying to undermine the government, he didn’t buy his own birthday cake, it’s getting pathetic and some on here have clearly fallen for the media bias . Try using some common sense, there are many more serious issues than silly little parties, have you heard of Russia?

Well it was probably a Russian plot to invite Johnson again and again to get so drunk and provide him with 'women'- so much so that he could not remember his name ... to Italy at the Villas of Russian Oligarchs. They have probably got enough evidence to make Prince Andrew look like a choir boy.

Dominic Cummings was probably hidden inside it.

Personally, however tempting it is to reach conclusions before an investigation and report is concluded, my experience suggests to always wait until the full evidence is available …. And that’s still what I’m doing.

Like many, I’ve formed some opinions, but am keeping them to myself since my one tentative suggestion (for debate only) was made the subject of confrontational response rather than reasoned debate.

Probably because many of us had already downloaded it and read it.

Personally, however tempting it is to reach conclusions before an investigation and report is concluded, my experience suggests to always wait until the full evidence is available …. And that’s still what I’m doing.

December 8th, Johnson tells us there were no parties and that all rules were followed.

January 31st, Sue Gray tells us there were 20 "gatherings" and that 16 of them were possibly so far outside the rules that they require police investigation.

He misled parliament. What exactly is it you are waiting for?

Becuase the only way he wasn't telling a direct lie was if the people who work for him are able to run rings around him and he believes every little lie they tell him. Either way, he's unfit to the leader of this country.

I can't wait for the final report. If I have to wait a year I'll be most pee'd off. However we already know that he's a lying, conniving, treacherous coward who tells lies in the Chamber of the HoC about the LOTO to try to take the heat off himself.

Reading between the lines of the reply from my Conservative MP on the subject of the parties, she is no longer defending the PM but saying now isn’t the right time for a leadership contest as there’s too much going on.

And if they have been supplied by Cummings you can be pretty sure that they are spot on the point; not meandering off down byways or full of irrelevancies. He may be a strange guy but he has proved that he knows just what he's doing.

(I actually felt ashamed of voting against the devolution of powers to the NE when I found out he had run the anti campaign. I wasn't influenced by his campaign at all, but I feel soiled to think that I'd done his will...)

I’m just really curious about why you want to see the final report if you’ve already made up your mind. I would put the same question to you: what are you waiting for?
Like many here, I have formed opinions about the likely outcome …. But I think it’s a real disservice to Sue Gray who has done a remarkable job, to dismiss her final report in such a cavalier way.

I’ve done jury service AviaParva - and I know for a fact that photographic evidence is used as part of the prosecution case. I don’t think we’re in Jonathan Creek territory here, it’s more Noddy and PC Plod.

Stand back - look at the bigger picture. BJ twice sacked for lying. Unfaithful and lied to many wives and partners. A disaster as foreign secretary. Offhand remarks of dubious taste / racist. Lied over the payment of his flat redecoration. Lied over Jennifer Arcuri. That is why his statements about these gatherings matter. It is about his character. How any woman can support him is beyond me, but then I remember Trump…
