Lord Ashcroft’s book about Carrie ?

According to Ashcroft, Johnson is ‘mesmerised’ by his wife, and is nothing but a ‘puppet’.
Others say it’s misogynistic guff.
I wonder if Carrie is yet another to get the blame for Johnson’s behaviour; and that she’ll be getting the ‘chucked under a bus’ treatment soon.

Agree with so much said on here and just feel the same old frustration that he is going to get away with it all -as usual. Yesterday I picked up the Metro to read on a train and what do I see? In large print a heading proclaiming Johnson is just what we need for his entertainment value at this time. I couldn’t believe it as this was a letter from a reader of the paper. Why would the Metro give it such prominence? Another excusing him as if his misdemeanours were trivial. Are people really so devoid of brain power.

Sadly, it would appear that they are - either that or no moral values (or maybe both).
