Poor Keir. Johnson has a lot to answer for with that horrendous comment. It was really below the belt and totally uncalled for. I wonder if any more of his aides will resign this week, but it's all gone a bit quiet now.

If Boris was a man he would apologise in full for lying in the first place about Starmer’s involvement, and for causing this incident, at PMQ on Wednesday.

Despicable. What will it take for the PM to do the honourable thing, i.e. resign? Mind you, 'honourable' is an alien concept to him.

Chris Bryant gave a very good interview on Ch4 news about this disgusting episode. He is clearly really upset about the way politics is going, the downward spiral, immorality, lies is besmirching and demeaning the profession of politician.

I’ve just emailed Chris Bryant to thank him. We were really upset when we saw the footage: I’ve had Sky News on this afternoon so I assume it only just happened. Johnson knew what he was doing when he made that accusation. He sowed the seeds and this is the result. Am I right in thinking that I saw Piers Corbyn in the crowd verbally abusing Keir? How low has British politics sunk. Johnson has to make a public apology and he needs to say that he lied. I’m disgusted.

This episode is truly shocking- and the responsibility is Johnson's, no ifs, no buts.
