Russia Today: TV regulator Ofcom asked to review channel's UK broadcasts

www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-60495417

I imagine that Russia would block BBC in retaliation and BBC World Service is hugely influential.

The UK viewing numbers for RT are tiny and many viewers only watch for a short time then switch off in disgust. I sometimes watch five minutes or so, just to remind myself how extreme its bias is. So no, I don't think that its UK broadcasting licence should be removed.

When they knew that the US arsenal was 10 times the Russian

Well you're just wrong there Katie59.

Nothing else to say really.

Just as UK voters lapped up the Brexit propaganda.

This sort of comment really irks me.

Am I the only person to remember all at the talk of leaving the EU in the 90s? Referendum Party? We Demand a Referendum Now? There has been Euro sceptics for decades.

My father wanted us to leave before we'd even joined.

Many people did NOT lap up Brexit propaganda, as MOnica said

I wanted to stay and would have always wanted to stay but we didn't.

And that was that.

You did not have to watch RT to be subjected to pro-brexit propaganda.

If you read The Daily Express The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Sun etc - more than 80% of the readers of our national press were subjected to fake news, disinformation and anti-EU propaganda for years

Why? -because the EU was threatening to make the crooked tax dodging billionaire proprietors of these newspapers pay fair taxes and that did not suit their agenda.

You must have had a good read of said papers then, to know what they were saying. Or did you read the left wing bias of the Guardian, Personally I made my mind up in 75. No thanks.

I have always been a supporter of European unity, since the days General de Gaulle said 'Non'.

In the succeeding 60 years I have never seen or read anything that has led me to change my mind.

I do not mean that I did not see much that needed to be changed in how the EC was run, but think we were better out than in, never.
