They’re just discussing migrant accommodation now and plans to move two thousand migrants into RAF Scampton has been delayed until October, so now they are going to get some marquees that will house 2000 migrants!

Latest on Howard Davies, he will do his duty and stay on (huh!),

But lucky for us he will organize an Independent Review.

Which will be carried out by Travers Smith.

But how independent will it actually be?

Will that matter though?
As they will be hoping the public will have forgotten/given up on this topic/moved on (as is often the case) so no one will care what conclusion the whitewash inquiry will come to.

I knew about the Chelmsford accommodation. It's a converted office block and doesn't comprise "luxury" appartments.

Chelmsford City Council had initially refused permission for the office block to be converted into 94 flats due to inadequate natural light and the size of some of the flats.

Do they sound like "luxury" appartments? Each one will have at least three inhabitants.

I've seen other articles in local papers. I know the building. Read the comment about inadequate natural light and the size of the apartments. Not exactly luxury!
