Anyone who truly represents and fights for their constituency residents - not just those who voted for them - and who doesnt use politics as a way to feather their own nest.

John Smith, Robin Cook, from Labour. Both sadly died but I think they would have made good Labour leaders. Also David Milliband. They elected the wrong brother IMO.

The only LibDem who had any credibility was Charles Kennedy. He didn't agree with the ConLibDem alliance.

The Tories? I would struggle to name one. Michael Portillo is good on the TV but that doesn't make him good PM material.

Alan Johnson. Such a missed opportunity for PM.
Oh and in general people being able to cope with the fact that other people hold different opinions to them.
