There are lots of sexually dysfunctional behaviours and conditions that affect men who are interested in dressing as women and entering female only spaces, it's not just paedophilia

If this is another reference to the absolutely disproven theory of autogynaephilia do little reading about the subject it has been largely disproved.

I've done lots of reading on the subject and I have experience and knowledge within care settings where men have jobs to access vulnerable women to gain sexual pleasure. Maybe you could read up on this too

We can't just pretend everything is ok and applaud this kind of behaviour. I'm sure as someone with entitlement he could have just had a private toilet within the facility, he was making a point, One which some of us feel is a vulgar and exploitative

I wonder why anyone feels the need to introduce abusive relationships in care settings into a discussion about someone openly, and carefully-no other woman could have entered without knowing Eddie was there-using a female toilet.
It seems to me that the reasons really are being dredged up.

Mollygo Sat 01-Oct-22 23:26:25

Oh Glorianny I do, but you seem to think claiming to be a different gender entitles you claim the rights of being a different sex.
It doesn’t.

Rosie51 Sat 01-Oct-22 23:27:23

Glorianny Mollygo after so many posts do you still not recognise there is a difference beween gender and sex?
and do you not recognise that public toilets (and other single sex areas) are labeled by sex not some amorphous 'gender feel'?

Glorianny Sat 01-Oct-22 23:27:34

I suppose if she hadn't done it so openly she would have been accused of trying to hide her gender identity.
Anything to criticise.

JaneJudge Sat 01-Oct-22 23:28:43

well he went in the toilet with two other women to accompany him, so I think it is worth mentioning actually

and it is actually part of the point and issue anyway

otherwise what is the point of women's rights and safe spaces and anything else##

poor old bloody Sheddie

FarNorth Sat 01-Oct-22 23:29:04

King Charles is a man so just as unwelcome in women's toilets any other man including Eddie Izzard, Glorianny.
I don't know why you seem to be finding this difficult to understand.

As far as I know no one at present checks your sex as you enter a toilet. I realise some might want to try to, but they can't and don't.

Why couldn't Eddie use the toilet that matches his sex? Why did he need to use the Ladies unless it was to make a point? It was like any male animal, marking his territory, asserting his maleness. Women, real women, don't seem to need to do this.

JaneJudge Sat 01-Oct-22 23:30:46

but we all know he is a man, he isn't a random

Doodledog Sat 01-Oct-22 23:31:44

Nobody said that EI is, has links with or has been accused of paedophilia. You have claimed to misunderstand analogies before, but I can’t believe you really think that that was what was said or suggested - attacking FN is just a useful diversion from the topic of conversation.

If EI can use the Ladies, so can any man, whether it’s Harmless Henry, Nice Norman or the Dalai Lama. Unfortunately so can Jimmy Saville and Rolf Harris. Whether any of them are dressed in a tux or a frock isn’t the point - the Ladies is open to men, and is no longer a safe space.

How is that difficult to understand?

No, it's thought that most people will be honest enough to use the correct facility. You obviously agree Eddie doesn't fall into that category.

I don't know why you seem to be finding this difficult to understand.

But he raises money and has a charity. And a link with a paedophile. He corresponded with JS for a long time and introduced him into the RF.
You brought in fundraising and paedophiles so I thought it worth thinking about.

JaneJudge Sat 01-Oct-22 23:34:43

does King Charles use the ladies toilet as well?

No I and quite a few other women used the men's, we were thinking of it again at the airport but there was a men's queue. So we were just as dishonest as Eddie.

Are you suggesting that the King should or shouldn’t be allowed to use the Ladies, and why? I’m baffled now grin.

The Ladies has always been open to men. I believe there have been several posts about how husbands/partners etc wouldn't use them.

JaneJudge Sat 01-Oct-22 23:38:04

do women pose a violent sexual threat to men in toilets?

FarNorth Sat 01-Oct-22 23:40:08

Exactly Doodledog.

a discussion about someone openly, and carefully-no other woman could have entered without knowing Eddie was there-using a female toilet.
It seems to me that the reasons really are being dredged up.

On that occasion everyone knew he was there. That isn't going to happen on every occasion or when other men take his very noticeable lead and do the same.

Btw Glorianny why did you mention going to the men's toilets?
Why is that relevant if Izzard is a woman?

So Izzard/woman in women's toilet is related in what way to Glorianny/woman in men's toilet?

SueDonim Sat 01-Oct-22 23:41:12

a discussion about someone openly, and carefully-no other woman could have entered without knowing Eddie was there-using a female toilet.

So he was essentially gate-keeping the women’s toilets?? shock shock They were closed to anyone who didn’t wish to share a lavatory with a man? What were they supposed to do - piss in a plant pot in a dark corner?

I am so angry at people who encourage women being thrown under the bus like this, still coming bottom of the heap beneath privileged, entitled men. angry

Doodledog Sat 01-Oct-22 23:41:22

They are open, in the sense of not being locked. Most decent men of my acquaintance wouldn’t use them for the reasons I outlined upthread.

What’s that got to do with Eddie Izzard or the King? This thread is becoming increasingly strange.

FarNorth Sat 01-Oct-22 23:41:49

Good grief Glorianny your fingers must be fairly whizzing around the keyboard, to be making all these posts!

I brought in fundraising when discussing how unnecessary the character assassination was in the article.
FarNorth then linked fundraising to paedophiles. I just carried on the subject.
Paedophilia and Eddie have as less to connect them that Charles and paedophilia.
But if it's OK to bring in to blacken Eddie's name it's OK to use it to blacken Charles.

JaneJudge Sat 01-Oct-22 23:46:32

Boundaries are important and blurring boundaries and guidelines will lead to abuse of females. It really isn't that difficult to understand

Eddie Izzard is manipulating circumstances and shouldn't be standing for an MP place if he finds boundaries difficult, of course he has the money though

I don't care for vanilla fwiw but I care for women

No one is being thrown under a bus. I believe toilets are often closed when a celeb is using them.
