That was my first though when they mentioned it this morning on TV. I've never considered they would each have their own - but of course ?
Truss's was very fancy & I'm glad to see Sunak's is more robust & austere. Let's hope that says something.
Yes, they should go for a one-size-fits-all. - Like the Budget Briefcases - even though it was replaced a few years back.

One is more than sufficient if it could be adjusted to different heights. I had no idea each PM could choose his or her own- no wonder we have little money.

It does make sense to have a few of differing heights.They can be kept for very many years after all, and used time and time again.I was not observant enough to realise that it was not the same lecturn.It is not as if they are studded with diamonds after all.

It said this morning the lecturn is changed to allow for different heights. Maybe they could provide Sunak with a step or someone tall has a block put under the lectern. I meant to raise the height not for putting their chin on.

He could use the one I use to reach into kitchen cupboards that was for the children to use the toilet. There’s very cheap and easily transportable.

They have NO idea how to manage (other peoples) money do they? Like all this decorating lark at No 10-i agree «state» rooms should look good but all the rest should be like service homes-just a coat of paint!
