Next time you are accusing the rest of us of making personal remarks, please remember this one, VS. I don't think that pointing out passive aggressive behaviour and virtue-signalling (with examples) comes anywhere close to this, do you?

There is also the acceptance (or promotion) of violent attacks on dissenters. It's frightening, isn't it?

I haven't seen any public statements from those who promote gender ideology, to say that the aggressive, violent activists don't represent them.

Where women can be strong and purposeful and not simply victims, where men can be caring and considerate and not simply aggressive and violent.

I don't see how claiming to be the opposite sex helps with any of that.

I don't know how you have patience to stand against what seems to have evolved into the conspiracy theory of the decade and some of the most vile behaviour I have seen on this forum but I'm cheering for you

Not exactly in the spirit of GN, I would have thought, especially with no validation forthcoming for that claim.

A little bit of research to clarify the terms used helped.
Vile has already been defined.

I haven’t seen any conspiracy theories.
Although this definition,
^conspiracy theory is an explanation for an event or situation that invokes a conspiracy by sinister and powerful groups^
fits TRA plans to attack JKR and disrupt female support meetings well.

Implying posters are conspiring, i.e. that they,
make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act
again seems to fit some TW or TRA activities,
but what events on here do you feel warrant that accusation?

Not really but what's the point of discussing anything with people with closed minds? There's some very interesting use of misinformation being used to spread hate in some of the articles which go with that photo.
I think VS was referring to the abuse and name calling used by some on these threads, not to mention the bully piling- on strategy.

Nope and people here definitely wouldn't follow anyone to other threads to do more of the same just because they disagree with you on one subject

That would definitely be bullying behaviour

Whether or not the other person agrees to be or feel bullied is another matter

I read your posts and think they sometimes exemplify exactly that. Pile-on and bullying certainly doesn’t need more than one or two to do it.
Thank you for trying to explain VS’s accusations, but in the light of the nastiness of them, don’t you think the examples would be better coming from her?

Well that article deals with details of her sex life I really don't want or need to know. If it harms no one and is between consenting adults it really is none of my business.
Other articles said she scored goals.
She has been taking hormone treatment for 5 years. Plus she's significantly older than a lot of players. Does she look female there? Well no but then some of the rugby players I've seen aren't particularly feminine.
She has made a statement about her abilities and the misleading information in the press.
I do think there is a debate to be had about competitive sport but I don't think the occasional transwoman is a huge problem. The problem is there is no proper research on the long term effects of hormone treatment

If a number of people agree with one another but not with one or two others on a thread that is not a pile-on. It is a disagreement.

I can't say I have seen anyone following people from thread to thread to disagree about other things, but I respond to posts rather than posters. I often agree with things that people say one one thread and not on another - it would be odd if that didn't happen, IMO. Equally, there will be times when people disagree about one issue and also on others. That doesn't mean that one poster sees the other as so important that they 'follow them' around - it's just that they don't see eye to eye.

I also don't see closed-mindedness on the part of the so-called 'GC', unless that simply means not changing minds, which is true of posters on both 'sides' of this issue. I don't see minds being opened to consideration of women who are fearful of violence, or concerned about their rights being eroded - instead I see accusations of having a 'victim mentality', and of being 'vile'. Nothing open-minded about that.

As for 'spreading hate' - that is also a low blow. How many times do we have to say that there is no hate involved in standing up for women's rights? It is not that we have anything against transpeople - just that we don't believe that they have changed sex, and we don't want men to be treated as though they are women based on their own say so.

It seems to me blindingly obvious that allowing self-id leaves the field wide open to abuse, and that it will be women who suffer. If others disagree there is nothing I can do about that; but my refusal to back down is not a sign of 'closed-mindedness'. It is simply a case of not being coerced, browbeaten or bullied into submission. Would you prefer it if the so-called 'GC' people on here allowed that to happen. VS and Glorianny? Is 'closed-mindedness' a synonym for not bowing to your opinion?

Bear in mind that when you consistently refuse to answer questions you are not giving people any opportunities to open their minds - I see 'closed-mindedness' as having a POV that you (generic) refuse to debate, discuss or otherwise explore, but simply keep stating it over and over until either the other 'side' backs down or you have given yourself the last word by saying no more.

I don't think that your concerns about drug abuse in young people are important. The problem is genetic modification of apples.

You might think differently if it was your daughter/female relative/friend who had missed out on an award or a medal to an occasional transwoman .
Or you would probably say
