It would need that advantage to be proven Mollygo if you read the research quoted in the Guardian article levels of advantage differ and change with hormone treatment.

True I might think that the trans debate has become a bit conspiracy theory but that's my honest opinion on how absolutely awful these threads have become and the behaviour I have witnessed is what drives that thought.

I’m catching up with various threads and find myself agreeing with Lathyrus and with Doodledog’s earlier post.

Disagreeing with someone on more than one thread isn’t ‘following’ someone. It’s simply disagreeing with them in more than one issue. It’s what happens, especially in news and politics.
At the risk of being controversial can I name tickingbird and urmstongran? I rarely, if ever, agree with either of these posters. They never (or vanishingly rarely) agree with me. That’s fine. It means we all express our views strongly and clearly, we disagree. It should/could lead to healthy debate.

I would very much like to see examples of people being 'followed' from thread to thread. I know for certain that I have agreed with you (and others with your views on trans issues) on other threads, and I am sure the same is true of others. If we don't agree about things that come up on other threads, that is not because of anything other than the fact that people don't always agree about everything. It seems to me very self-obsessed to think that people are following you (generic) around simply to disagree for the sake of it.

What she also says though, which I find concerning, is that the Conservative party could well come to be seen as the defender of women. This really should not be a Left vs Right issue, but it seems to have become one.

Lathyrus sorry but I never report. I believe in free speech. It's one of my principles. No matter what names I am called no matter how I am misrepresented I don't report. The abuse stands for itself. If you accept those opinions of me that's up to you. If you can't see what's happening that again is your responsibility.

The evidence is there you choose not to see it.

What is concerning to me about the Conservatives being seen as the party which is on the side of women is that it will mean they get more votes.
I don't see where the pay gap fits in here.
