No sign of our MP, but our MSP lives locally and has a vry visible presence.

A piece of useless info: I went to school with his mother and she was a teaching colleague!

Yes, and it's rural - but his visits aren't always well-publicised.

My Lib Dem MP is seen and heard frequently.

Mine seems to be keeping his Tory head down as he's subject to complaints.

How often do you see or hear about what your MP does in your area , I appreciate some are very vocal in parliament but do you feel they work for the people that they serve.
Someone commented recently on Jeremy Vine that the only time they see their MP, ( a former PM) is when he shows her picture on the show.
I must say ours is often seen both locally and in Parliament speaking out on issues that concern both local and national, but he also attends and takes part in local events, he is very good and I feel a possible candidate for a prominent position in government if his party get re-elected in the next election.
