I agree Callistemon21 that there are many important issues and the whole purpose of this event is being overlooked because of a misunderstood conversation. I've never heard so much nonsense here in my life. The Queen was Head of the Commonwealth and has hosted many thousands of people from many different ethnicities at the Palace. She has embraced every nationality. It is an absolute disgrace that one conversation in a very noisy crowded room should claim to provide evidence of 'racism at the Palace'.
There are such appalling, tragic examples of real victims suffering racism all over the world, and yet it seems some people are just looking to be offended and make trouble, when a simple apology and hug would suffice.
All these nonsense incidents will just make people wary of each other and less likely to engage. Is that what you want, volver and GagaJo?
'Misunderstood'.
Let's be clear, when people are racist, those they treat badly are already wary.
I don't want to hug a racist and I'm white. If being forgiving and pretending it wasn't an issue worked, Black people wouldn't die at the hands of the police.
