In 14 years as a doctor I’ve never known such horrific conditions. Patients dying on trolleys with zero dignity. Or screaming & moaning in corridors. Dickensian overcrowding, total implosion. Despair. Weeping staff. Abject misery.

Well yes they are and I really see no commitment to stopping privatisation in the labour party either. We are heading for a two level system. One thing I would like to see is all links between MPs and private health care providers made illegal. The level of involvement is extraordinary. In 2014 there were 70 MPs with links. This is interesting reading www.everydoctor.org.uk/blog/private-healthcare-politicians
I can't imagine anything more corrupt.

Not so sure the public is asleep, but frightened and unsure which way to turn. It needs a strong leadership group to take up each hardship case and make sure it isn’t forgotten.

There will be no reaction from the sleeping public until they are presented with the cost of the insurance, by which time it will be too late.

Another yes from me. But I am not convinced that even if Labour win the next election that they will prevent privatisation from happening, although they might pretend that it can't be helped.

Their goal is to privatise medical provision. They want the American version. The NHS will be relegated to a British version of Medicare. Those who can pay will....just as long as they don't get TOO sick, when their insurance will either become unaffordable or no longer obtainable.

In answer to your question, whilst the majority either turn a blind eye, or are unprepared to fight, is a resounding "yes".
