It is all very sad. Both kids were damaged by events of the past, and it is now all coming out, in so many ways.

But comments as the one quoted above are just so so wrong.

I see it is Kate’s birthday on the 9th, one day before the book is due to be officially published. Leaking it is just another coincidence I suppose.

I find it immensely sad that two siblings who appeared to be incredibly close are now apparently so distant, and angry with each other.

The media are yet again fuelling the flames of animosity in a fully fledged feeding frenzy, something I find extremely distasteful.

A lot of people lose their parents when they are young but they don’t carry on like pork chops for the rest of their lives and they don’t go round broadcasting their woes and looking for sympathy.

I wonder if any verbal or physical altercations (if they did take place) were because William was worried about Harry and thought he was doing the wrong thing ...

I don't believe that for a minute!
William looks like a man who is "bien dans sa peau" - both happy in his personal family life and his role as future monarch.
One thing Harry does not look, is happy.

If Harry wasn’t doing all these documentaries, interviews and books the media wouldn’t have anything to feed on. It’s not a spat between warring brothers in public as only one brother is washing his dirty linen on the world stage. I just wonder when it will stop.

I wonder how H & M are going to be able to deal with sibling rivalry when their own children start. They don’t seem equipped .

He used to look happy and carefree when he was younger and that is why so many liked him. He always was a bit thick, seemingly ( e.g. dressing up as a Nazi without thought of press reaction) but he was pleasantly thick. Not so much now.

I'm not surprised to hear it. I'm sure it goes on a lot. They've always been a disfunctional family (what family isn't?) and William has his father's temper.

Also sounds as if Charles was used to the boys fighting.

Lets hope the distance between them over the course of a few years can calm the situation. Although I'm not sure I could come back from being physically attacked by a family member.

This was bound to happen. Sad, but I think Harry is now unstoppable.

Wonder what made Will so angry? Not that brothers scrapping is big news but I suppose they were adults by then. Sigh.

He has written a book, no problem lots of people do that. It’s a good way to get your story over.

He has given two interviews which is par for the course for authors on a pre-publishing publicity tour. Although most authors will not have their interviews on mainstream TV prime time on a Sunday.

I just feel that it doesn’t need the world news outlets to make this headline news, there are far more serious issues which should take prime of place.

He says William wasn’t rational and then they both shouted at each other! So he wasn’t rational either. Then he says the first person he told was his therapist. His therapist? But the royals aren’t allowed help for mental health issues Harry, and you already had such problems, and still do by the sound of it. Wonder what the therapist said.

Have you ever sat through a film that had a lousy plot and you weren’t enjoying, but you somehow felt the need to stay to see what happens in the end? That is more or less how I feel about the whole Meghan and Harry saga, they have no impact on my life, yet I want to know. However it is having an impact on so many lives in the royal family, some of them children, and that really is sad. George at least is likely to hear things at school, and the younger ones in years to come.

I, like others, am starting to feel really sorry for them all and that things have got to this stage, so maybe I am guilty of rubbernecking, though it s hard to avoid the topic at the moment. Either way, I’m starting to feel a bit uncomfortable.

For clarity I am neither pro or anti The Sussexes.

As a mother of boys I just find it incredibly saddening.

You really think he’s an innocent author putting out a book and interviews? Come off it.
He’s decided to wreck the monarchy because he’s a spoilt child at heart.
If Charles and William had any sense they would sorrowfully conclude they should have no more to do with him in order to for this all to end.
If it drags on, and he visits the UK or even talks on the phone to them he’ll be putting it in the very next interview.
It would ruin what’s left of Charles life and also Williams as it will hang over them the entire time,
A clean break now is what’s needed.
