I agree Fleurpepper and I am alarmed by the number of people who still regard him fondly, see him as some sort of eccentric. I do wonder if there is some kind of connection between his ex KGB pal and the need for a loan of £800k, despite a very healthy income from his lecture tours. Surely, in any kind of world, this should be a cause for concern?

I don't trust Johnson as far as I could throw him. He is the worst kind of liar, because he believes his own lies. He should be answering questions about his buddy the 'ex KGB' agent and the unaccompanied trip to Umbria, this is what I would call traitorous behaviour; we all know there is not such thing as an 'ex KGB agent', the ex ones are all dead, dealt with by Putin. I really don't know what is going on, he, Johnson is suspiciously close to Russian power, but also diving in and out of Ukraine. He is a dangerous individual, and should be answering questions. Whether Putin threatened him or no? I don't know, don't care, and frankly wouldn't believe him if he told me today was Monday.

I think he actually might be the Tories best chance of winning again.

I’m actually not convinced that he is lying about Putin threatening him. Johnson is a liar, and so is Putin - who knows what games they are playing. I doubt either of them is capable of a straightforward answer even if just asked what they ate for dinner last night.
