We live in a toxic woman blaming culture by other women

I often disagree with Violet but I agree with her view that women blaming is endemic. Meghan M won’t be everyone’d favourite American but the level of nasty criticism directed to her is unusual

I think the nastiness towards Meghan is probably unprecedented, but then we weren't around in the days of Wallis Simpson to compare it.

Oreo, that’s your take on H and M. I don’t share it but that’s ok . Where I do struggle is the level of anger directed at these two. The Estrangement threads seem largely used by a group of posters, rarely do people without direct experience get involved. Estrangement is always heart breaking. Getting furious and taking sides unless you have direct knowledge doesn’t seem particularly helpful

I don't dislike either of them. I don't know them.
I might not like some of the things they've said.

But if you have a powerful voice, have won an award as a Woman of Vision, then use it to help others, don't make a speech which is basically jargon, soundbites and just confusing.
