Jesus H. There has to be a better way to spend Sunday than reading this..covens and cliques. It’s childish.
Going back to the garden room with an ice cream.

Maddy chicken probably.
Meghan’s specialties are roast chicken and lemon cake I believe

I do like a lemon cake especially lemon drizzle.
Or lemon pudding.
Not so keen on lemon chicken.

Got to be bananas in there too.

I cannot agree there, Vanillasky 😁

Now banana cake is something different in this house! Has to have sultanas in it.

Witches were the very opposite of cool were they not ?

Saying that people are in a coven is particularly nasty. It’s obvious what you are calling them by implication.

I thought Gagajo meant that she and the people she named were the clique? A little group always in agreement as on this thread?
My misunderstanding if not.

Other than that I see a lot of other posters on here who sometimes agree and sometimes disagree on various topics.

Using the word coven is just childish.
We're surely more adult than that.

I want to be in a coven. I'm currently reading a book "In defence of witches."
I'd like some guidelines for it.
Cake seems to be vital.
Days out whatever the weather
Can we have wine as well?

lemsip I haven't posted on this thread since page 19, so your "same thing for 24 pages" is wildly inaccurate.

Vanillasky Sun 21-May-23 15:20:47

Did you know Aston Villa have scored the most own goals this season?
But not quite as many as GN. 🥅

VioletSky Sun 21-May-23 15:18:21

Witches are cool

Does no one read Terry Pratchett?

I'm happy to be referred to as part of 'the coven'

No, it was me you accused of being in a coven with just one other poster who left.

So I must be The Worst 🧙‍♀️ left all by myself.

I don't think I did. If I did, I'm impressed with my use of language!

Yes, you did.
Careless use of language, unfounded accusations which could have caused upset to anyone sensitive, (not to either of us because it was so ridiculous), but so easy to say and so easily forgotten.

If I did, I'm impressed with my use of language!
Why?
🤔
What does that mean exactly?

VioletSky Sun 21-May-23 14:51:00

foxygloves

Can you not do better than that?

Search your soul

Are you really not above policing language?

Foxygloves Sun 21-May-23 14:47:20

Gross?

Something wrong and not acceptable

I hadn’t realised GN while inclusive, included US teenagers.

VioletSky Sun 21-May-23 14:44:56

Except, that's not true at all Mollygo I stick up for anyone who receives the behaviour I describe

Vs?

I'll go back to not replying to you at all again. That's how you can tell I don't engage in that behaviour

I only answered you because I strongly feel that if you are saying that any law breaking individual makes a genuine minority group look bad then that is scapegoating. That means rightful anger towards law breaking people is being taken out on genuine innocent victims

That is probably the 100th way I have tried to explain that to appeal to people's better natures and put a stop to the pain it causes others

It's wrong and as an intersectional feminist who understands that some women face huge amounts of sex discrimination as well as something like disability discrimination on top.. I can't say nothing

GrannyGravy13 Sun 21-May-23 14:41:20

As this thread is now entirely about the posters and not H & M
I would like to add that I definitely cannot be in a clique as sometimes I agree with volver3 , sometimes I agree with maddyone in fact over the years I have been on here I think I have agreed and disagreed with most posters at one time or another.

JaneJudge Sun 21-May-23 14:38:49

I wonder if they've ever had Lemon chicken from the Chinese take out shop as that would surely be the best of both worlds

Mollygo Sun 21-May-23 14:37:10

VioletSky

Another way to look at it is that the clique wish every thread they are on to be a haven for those with like minds and are therefore not opposed to any means to make people with differing views unwelcome

It's pretty gross really

VS Just how I see posts from you and your clique, coven, group if that’s how you like it.
I’ve been busy today supervising/supporting (invisibly) disabled children doing their bit for a charity, so not had much time to watch this. Thanks for those who pm’d me.

I don’t think I’m in a clique or a coven, but maybe I am and I just don’t know it. I’m only popping in whilst waiting for the barbie to cook. Done the salads and fruit salad so popped back in. Will be off again in a minute but not running away, just making sure the the family have enough to eat.
I’ll bring the discussion back to H+M and wonder what they eat for Sunday lunch? Maybe they barbecue in the sunny California weather?

Define your use of the word “gross” please VioletSky

NotSpaghetti Sun 21-May-23 13:52:58

Lemsip, some of us are only on page 6...
Just saying!

lemsip Sun 21-May-23 13:45:01

Glorianny your repeating what has been said over and over aaand over again. 24 pages now

I dunno

My thoughts on the "clique" as such is that they are people who overlook each other's comments that are very much not ok and sometimes very personal because they agree with those commenters on many subjects and want that agreement.

Often disliking the same behaviours they ignore in those who agree with them and pointing it out in others

I cannot understand putting my own values aside in such a way and don't which is why I've stood up for those people when I've seen them receive those comments on many occasions

My values are all inclusive

I think most arent in either and definitely wouldn't want in the clique
