Is there anyone here on GN still prepared to stand and say that it is not- and give evidence to the effect?

I read that New Zealand has joined the Horizon Europe project.

Whitewavemark2

I read that New Zealand has joined the Horizon Europe project.

Countries associated with Horizon Europe:

Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom and Ukraine.

And now New Zealand joins as an associate.
Good. 🙂

🥱

Yawn away- perhaps like Boris in a recent interview, make snoring noises too, to be even ruder.

We have moved around quite a lot, and I have worked in very many different industries, including factories in areas which are not famous for being friendly to foreigners- and always made welcome and made so many friends, in all shapes, sizes and guises. Always been a true Ambassador for GREAT Britain, its open mindedness, tolerance, innovation and so much more- always praising it for such- so no, never British bashing from me, ever- until the Brexit fraudulent, clear and now, proven lies- and the worst it has brought out from a section of the population (see Jenrick's thread for the most apt example) - and the divisions and massive damage it has caused.

I am obsessed with it- no denying this- and for very good reasons- because if you love and admire a country, and gave it your all, personally and as a couple over so long- it hurts, truly.

Laugh, yawn, be my guest- water over a very happy duck's back.

You won't find many posters agreeing with Jenrick's actions on that thread.

The citizens of Great Britain do not speak with one voice so I wonder if you would mind not constantly insinuating that we do? Or that you are the only person who loves this country, albeit from afar?
As if we do not? 🤔

Just as in other countries, in the EU or not, people have different opinions and, generally speaking, are free to express them within the confines of our laws here.

water over a very happy duck's back
But you don't sound very happy or cup half full ☹
Chin up, my DM said "there's always a silver lining to every cloud".

😂 well said Callistemon

Calli- I was clearly talking about a section of the population

'the worst it has brought out from a section of the population '- could not be clearer. About Jendrick btw, Farage as even condemned his actions! Amazingly.

As for

'Always look on the bright side of life' - I do, every day, away from GN. Very much so.
