I came across this article posted on MN.
It strikes me as very perceptive as Harry yet again drags up his mother’s death at the Invictus Games.
It’s so inappropriate and disrespectful to those thousands of injured servicemen and their relatives that an over-privileged, extremely wealthy individual constantly turns the subject to himself.

I think you are wrong wellsrose when you say that this whole thread was to berate Harry and Meghan and say vile things about them.

I think this thread was about an opinion piece. The article was linked at the start. It made me think about something I'd not really noticed before.

Just saying.

If the OP had been neutral, I could agree but it went straight into attack and was clearly was an invitation for yet another pile on.

Mollygo Thu 07-Sept-23 21:37:52

You’ve certainly demonstrated a pile on WR.

NotSpaghetti Thu 07-Sept-23 21:41:09

Maybe you did read it that way WellsRose (and maybe, reading it again) it isn't favorable to Harry - but nevertheless I took it as an invitation to read something I'd not normally bother with - and then comment on it.

I still think you were wrong to say "this whole thread was to berate Harry and Meghan and say vile things about them" - as I still don't believe that was the case.

If I'd thought that I'd not have bothered reading it.

If we don't get peeved with three year olds how on earth will they learn how to behave

🤣🤣🤣

Jessica Mulroney’s pageboy sons who earned all the smiles are also in Siberia with their cast off mother.

Meghan certainly has a way with kids but then they must know how to behave! 😂

A pile on is when you join a group of people to criticize someone so i haven't done I?

I'm not wrong. I have a different opinion. I've seen a discussion on this forum which isn't a lot of the same people who throw some really nasty insults at the Sussexes. If they are challenged they will try and get the person off the thread. Its happened to me, questions and comments about my posting history.

Ok then..

This thread was not, set up to "berate Harry and Meghan and say vile things about them".
That is my opinion.
🤷‍♀️

Only everyone who disagrees with you.

Sorry I'm not really understanding. Can you clarify?

I don't think that is necessarily true WellsRose. The whole M & H topic isn't really important enough to want a poster removed. Arguing the points to correct mistruths is fine.
By the way, Harry looked far happier at the Wellchild awards last night than he did at the Beyoncé concert, and he looked far better dressed!! (Meghan was absent).

I'm sorry but a couple of posters who have been questioning my posting history which i think is something I probably should have reported.

I think WellChild is an amazing charity and he's probably very proud. I'm not sure what Meghan has to do with that.

My subtle comment about Meghan meant to suggest that Harry looked far more relaxed without her around, and that he looked far more comfortable in a smart suit! Harry certainly enjoys being amongst all children, maybe Meghan less so.

Joseann Fri 08-Sept-23 07:43:50

And as far as I know, he didn't mention his mother either!

Why would you anslyse someone at a concert?

He gets slated if he mentions his mother. That was mentioned on the link in the OP.

Because it is H & M's mission to be "seen".

Why because went to a concert? Should they never leave the house? Do you go to concerts or do you hide away?

WellsRose Fri 08-Sept-23 08:08:21

I'm not really understanding what you're driving at regarding him not mentioning his mother. Can you explain?

Joseann Fri 08-Sept-23 08:20:09

I could explain at length, WellsRose, but I'm leaving for France.
Basically in the UK, when Meghan had previously attended public events and explicitly demanded no photography, her wishes were upheld. Now, she needs every photo op she can find. She went back to the Beyoncé concert the following night and had heaps more photos done, but of course without Harry they were of no interest
Au revoir for now..

Foxygloves Fri 08-Sept-23 08:48:03

I have to wonder if you are being deliberately obtuse or just missing much of the point @WellsRose or just arguing for the sake of being contrary.
However on a more cheerful note, Harry looked much more like his “old” cheerful and caring self - and a heck of a lot better turned out- at last night’s Well Child Awards.
And on his own. Perhaps there is hope.

Anniebach Fri 08-Sept-23 08:51:49

A very good speech, he was relaxed, no mention of his mother or family

I didn't know she had attended the Beyonce so I've had to search and unfortunately I had to look on the Daily Hate (which is ironic as they're her biggest critics but still publish photos of her). That photo of with Kelly Rowland and Kerry Washington is amazing. They all look beautiful. She fits with them better than the RoyAls so she's found her people.

You said there is no interest in these photos so why are they in every paper?

Enjoy France by the way.

That's very rude. I've asked questions. Can you explain what ones are obtuse.
