Just Stop Oil halts Les Miserables show as protesters storm stage in London's West End

For NannyCl, you're comparing chalk and cheese. The suffragettes had the ruling men against them, they needed to get public acceptance. Re climate change, most of western Europe, certainly including UK, has made giant strides to go greener. The British public is broadly onside with trying to make such changes.

BUT -- as Libra10 quite accurately says, all those efforts are far outweighed by the continuing actions of China, India, USA, Brazil & Russia, the dirtiest countries.

The babbling hypocrisy of the likes of Just Stop Oil is so perverse it's painful, you can guarantee they buy Chinese cr*p and take flights when it suits them. Chris Packham is a powerful voice for that cause, he was on the radio recently, talking about how he'd got stuck in traffic on the way to some event for the cause. Sorry Chris, did you say "stuck in traffic"? What, on a train or on a bicycle?? . . . .
