Me neither!

When the whole bridesmaid dress, shoe debacle broke, and the ensuing "who made who cry" Meghan relaying that back chose initially to ignore Catherine had just given birth to Louis and could have been feeling more emotional due to hormones, although at a later stage attributed some of that to "baby brain" Nice one Meghan! Mask slipped there as to the sisterhood, mere lip service and for someone who bleats on ad infinitum about her own mental health, she shows sod all empathy for so many other women who have come into her orbit shock

I’d have put money on Princess Anne and Prince Philip- so I was wrong.

I’m almost disappointed it wasn’t Princess Anne.

‘Naff Orf the lot of you!’ 🤣🤣

The gloves are off 🤼‍♂️

Do you believe a word written in Endgame, whatever language?

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 30-Nov-23 12:34:38

I look forward to hearing about Gary’s book. Good for him.

Syracute Thu 30-Nov-23 12:44:15

Well that’s good Syracute.

So where does Omid Scobie get his information from?

Meghan?
Completely made up by himself?
An anonymous source, never to be disclosed?

Answers on a postcard please. No prize for getting the right answer.

Who said any of this is true ? It’s really not even worth having a thread about it . He certainly is getting the attention here that he does not deserve .

Isn't Gary a bit of a rogue? I doubt he will mince his words!

It’s really not even worth having a thread about it. It might be worth it in the end, if a lot of the suspicions on here over the past years are correct. If not, people watching and family dynamics are interesting to discuss, even if we aren't involved.

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 30-Nov-23 13:06:11

Yes, he is. I think he’ll tell it as it is, within the bounds of the law. About time someone gave H&M a taste of their own medicine.

I think the main reason William tried to persuade Harry to delay the marriage and was very negative towards Megan is pretty obvious now. Also Kate being cold, frosty and aloof towards her SIL is obvious now why. Charles is a disgrace anyway for the way he treated his Diana so I'm not at all surprised about him or Kate being named. The late queen was a real lady. The rest of this family are awful. William attacked Harry what a thug. Racist family that need abolishing.

Anniebach Thu 30-Nov-23 14:33:37

Poor Diana , claimed there were three in her marriage, she had no problem being the third in several marriages

You mean this kind of cold, frosty and aloof in the photo or is there another kind, sazz1?

The rest of this family are awful. William attacked Harry what a thug. 😂😂😂

You believe Scobie then? Really?

You think someone should be abolished including the children - ie done away with? orf with their heads?
I think most of us are more civilised than that now, thank goodness.

Smileless2012 Thu 30-Nov-23 15:38:46

"William attacked Harry what a thug" that's so funny sazzl.

It is.
One moment calling William a thug for allegedly ripping Harry's necklace, then Harry fell to the floor into the dog's dinner. Ah, bless 😂

Then sazz1 is advocating the whole of the family be got rid of!! 😲

Calendargirl Thu 30-Nov-23 15:49:39

H&M really are ‘the gift that keeps on giving’.

Even though they aren’t named in the thread title, it still produces pages of comments.

You can always rely on them to give us at GN something to chew over.

I think we should be a republic. No place for a Royal Family in 2023. They should just be made into ordinary citizens. Why are people bowing and curtseying to them in this day and age? Kate is just the daughter of business people not a goddess. I think racism is integrated into our 'upper classes' and our press. If you look at articles from when Kate was pregnant and when Megan was pregnant you can see the bias. Megan was criticised for touching her bump the way she held her baby etc. Kate was praised for the same things. Sad but true.

eazybee Thu 30-Nov-23 16:01:54

Oh no; I do hope no-one writes a book in defence of the royal family because then they will think they have scored.
Much better to let them spew out their bile and continue to treat them with the icy indifference which makes them so cross, while the rest laugh at them.

TerriBull Thu 30-Nov-23 16:04:07

Brothers whether Royal or otherwise have been known to lamp each other, look no further than Noel and Liam Gallagher, well known for it! Whether one of them ended up in the dog's bowl who knows, although I suspect their respective necklaces sunglasses remained unscathed. Well there's a message in there somewhere for Harry maybe "Don't Look Back In Anger" it was only a necklace sad

Callistemon21 Thu 30-Nov-23 16:10:54

It's not unknown but most remain the best of friends.
Although they might disagree at home, they will defend each other if anyone outside the family criticises them!

Ah, but that's the manipulative press for you, sazz1
They did the same with Diana and Sarah.

Obviously there is a place for a Royal Family in 2023 as they seem to be much in demand.

Do keep up!

Joseann Thu 30-Nov-23 16:34:52

While I agree with eazybee that is probably best for the Royal Family to keep quiet, stiff upper lip , it concerns me how much upset the spewed bile might be causing individuals.
I would be surprised if Uncle Gary in his book tried to intimidate Meghan by criticising her or taking her task, but he might let slip the distressing effect the nasty stories were having on his niece. She is only human after all.
Well, that's how I'd write it anyway.

Smileless2012 Thu 30-Nov-23 16:47:16

Oh I think he'll do a lot more than let slip Joseanngrin.

TerriBull Thu 30-Nov-23 16:51:02

Harry's account of landing in the dog bowl made that incident all about him shock There was another victim that didn't get a mention, the hapless canine. These are some of the imponderables that were thrown up that we may never know the answers to.

Was the bowl damaged or broken for example,?did it contain maybe kibble that was scattered all over the floor?, did it witness the fisty cuffs, did it imagine Harry was being delivered into it's bowl as some sort of a snack? if so, did that affect the dog's mental health? did anyone reach out to the dog in the aftermath? maybe in the form of Tom Bradby being dispatched to whoever's gaff it was to ask in a suitably deferential way "how are you feeling now?"sad

Casdon Thu 30-Nov-23 16:54:58

I think the royal family should actually breathe a sigh of relief that everything is now out in the open, and there are no more cards to play. Public opinion seems to have turned completely against Meghan, Harry and of course Omid Scobie now. If they don’t have further contact with Meghan there is no ammunition for the future. I think this will all die down, and the media will pursue a discrediting the Sussexes tack now.
