Oh this poor woman. First breast cancer and now this. Hopefully she will be receiving excellent treatment but it must still be a shock for her.

I wish her well she always seems to smile and be cheerful.

Sago

It always goes in threes!
Poor woman.

A poster, cant remember which thread, and which poster, said that a few days ago, about the royals and their health.

Poor woman.
I pray that she recovers well.

She must feel devastated. I hope she will fight her way through it with the support of family.

The late Prince Phillip apparently didn't like her* I m sure he didn’t Labradora she’s a strong woman who wouldn’t have shown any fear of his tongue

Anniebach Sun 21-Jan-24 22:29:39

She was married to his son when she was photographed having
her toes suck by her lover

She always comes across as strong in the face of adversity. Let's hope and pray she can come through this too.

She was at church at Sandringham with the Royal Family at Christmas so must be forgiven. 🙂

From reports, it was one malignant melanoma only, although several moles were removed, and seems to have been caught early. 🤞 it had not spread.

he was her financial adviser; he must have run out of fingers for counting . . .
anyway, it's a long time ago.

She was married to his son when she was photographed having her toes suck by her lover and as we all know Andrew was/ is the paragon of virtue 🤣🤣🤣 don’t think his father had a lot to be proud of there

Unfair, the Yorks divorced after 10 years of marriage

She must have been very hurt though especially when she couldn’t spend Christmas Day with her girls.

Prince Philip may have had many great qualities but I don’t think forgiveness was one of them.

Sadly so often it’s the way for divorcies

Charleygirl5 Sun 21-Jan-24 23:27:00

I wish her well and hope it has been diagnosed in time for treatment.

So are thousands of others

@RosieMaw

The RF couldn't stand her. I wish her well but don't expect Charlie or any of his cronies to look out for her.

nanna8 Mon 22-Jan-24 12:00:10

Hope they have caught it early enough. My husband had one a couple of years ago, had to have a skin graft and a lot of stitches but hopefully they caught it before it spread. Always very aware of all moles and spots he has since then.

semperfidelis Mon 22-Jan-24 12:05:39

Why do we need to know? We don't!

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 22-Jan-24 12:08:09

What a nasty post SeaWoozle. Prince Philip didn’t care for her. After his death things changed. Charles is a kind and compassionate man. I don’t know who you mean by ‘his cronies’.

Treelover Mon 22-Jan-24 12:10:19

I've always had a soft spot for her too. I remember back in 1989 she became patron of Motor Neurone Disease Association, soon after my partner was diagnosed. It was the cinderella of diseases then never talked about and no-one understood it, she chose it. She gave it some publicity so people started to understand, it meant a lot. I think we all wish her well and wish her a speedy recovery.

Anniebach Mon 22-Jan-24 12:28:02

It is not an announcement from the palace, she wanted to share the info , why not

I think we do.

Even some medical professionals are unable to recognise a malignant melanoma when they see one (we know from experience) so we should all be aware of changes in moles and skin and insist on an early diagnosis.

Raising awareness is never a bad thing.

RosiesMaw

Just to add before the doom and gloom-sayers add their twopennyworth, a good friend locally and my first ever boyfriend of 60 years ago are both successfully undergoing immunotherapy for malignant melanoma .

Immunotherapy has been a game-changer in the treatment of malignant melanoma. It was a cancer that was very difficult to treat until fairly recently.

luluaugust Mon 22-Jan-24 12:50:01

Just want to wish her well, I reckon we don’t know the half of what she has put up with and kept quiet about
