Sarah Ferguson has malignant melanoma diagnosed.

I wish Sarah all the very best and hope she fully recovers.
Melanoma is not the killer it once was (my mother died of it) , there are some treatments now.

She is in the highest risk category, just like my family.

My sister has recently had one removed, and at her post op check up they have found another one which seemed to have popped up since she was examined in October.

According to sisters consultant, there are medications recently come on line that have made recovery a completely different ball game to previously.

I had breast cancer at a similar age to Sarah Ferguson and am still here to tell the tale.

Some people just like being nasty. Perhaps someone will say the same about her one day.

Poor woman. A jolly type who can hold her own, I like her.

No Anniebach we don’t have states in the UK, but my understanding is Andrew had sex with the girl in America in a State where the age of consent is 18!

I like Sarah Ferguson too. She's had to be tough and courageous.
She seems to understand what it is to have fun, while the RF as a whole seems so staid.

No precise dates are given for the alleged incidents. But it is claimed Jane Doe #3 was first approached by Maxwell in 1999, when she was 15. Epstein kept her as a “sex slave” from about 1999 to 2002, before she escaped and fled to another country, according to a document.
Similar allegations about Prince Andrew having sex with an underage girl were ordered to be struck from court records in 2015 in the civil case. At the time the judge did not rule on the veracity of the claims.”

Hope it ends well for her - it seems there are two things in this life we have negligable control over. The weather and health.
My Ma had a mastectomy in 1970 and our family GP told my father - because Ma couldn't face asking for the test results herself - "why didn't she come to see me earlier - she has six months at best"
(This was, of course, when we had family GP's and they could discreetly breach confidentialties when neccesary)and Dad came home and told her she was OK!
And she lasted 14 more years - probably because she wasn't told the truth.
The human mind is an amazing mystery.......

Yes it is sad when anybody contracts this awful disease. However in what way exactly is she so special? And what about thousands of other similarly suffering. Should we be thinking of them too.

I do hope they caught it in time and treatment can still be succesfull ❤️‍🩹
