Absolutely brilliant presenter like so many on GB News….

Urmstongran Sun 09-Jun-24 10:06:34

Seconded. I wish she’d be given Farage’s evening slot permanently!

I think she will now that he’s going to be a bit busy 😂

Yes, I like her too.

BlueSapphire Sun 09-Jun-24 11:11:06

She writes a really good column in the Telegraph.

He's never been busy in his life- claimed the most expenses when he was MEP and attended the least meetings. Still, some people might bother to vote for him? I have no idea why.

petra Sun 09-Jun-24 12:29:48

How did he claim more expenses than any other MEP when it’s a fixed amount. Plus the fact that their expenditure is kept secret under EU rules.
He was accused of spending expenses inappropriately. I see you have not mentioned the 250+ MEPs who claimed £4,000+ a month for office expenses when the didn’t even have an office.

He is the only one out of the ones I’ve watched with any oratory skills. Starmer is terrible and so is Sunak. People will vote for him because he sounds more convincing. Sad state of affairs.

Wyllow3 Sun 09-Jun-24 14:12:55

More interested in policy and a sense of decent solidity rather than fly by night oratory skills as such.

Wheniwasyourage Sun 09-Jun-24 14:25:43

I don't agree that he has particularly good oratory skills, and even if he did, the amount of rubbish he speaks would detract from them! Dreadful man.

nanna8 Sun 09-Jun-24 14:38:13

He reminds me of a certain German in his early days. He knows how to sway an audience. Don’t underestimate him, that would be a mistake.

BlueBelle Sun 09-Jun-24 14:43:10

He’s a racist axxx

Wyllow3 Sun 09-Jun-24 14:48:39

He attracts a crowd, but at heart a sort of loner - he doesnt work well with people alongside him?

found this interesting,

"“Send me to Parliament to be a bloody nuisance,” Farage told the crowds in Clacton earlier this week. And so he undoubtedly will be. For so he has been for his entire life — angering teachers at Dulwich College, falling out with his employers at R.J. Rouse & Co, trolling Tony Blair in Strasbourg, filching Carswell from the Conservatives, upending both main parties in European elections with UKIP, then doing the same with the Brexit Party, now elbowing Richard Tice out of the way as Reform leader — and, perhaps, above all, refusing to die, magnificently surviving a car accident, testicular cancer and a plane crash.

And all this without getting into the feuds, purges, affairs, lawsuits, coups, rows and splits that have distinguished his career.

If you want your elected representative to be a bloody nuisance, Reform’s new leader is your man. But not if you want anything done.

He is a spiv! and a racist. Dreadful man.

I think Camilla T would be excellent in presenting the election head-to-heads. She has really good political knowledge and her interviews are always interesting and to the point. She doesn't let folk get away with not answering her questions, although some are so slippery she has to give up in the end.

Urmstongran Sun 09-Jun-24 15:52:09

And she’s super polite and knowledgeable.

maddyone Sun 09-Jun-24 15:57:49

Well whatever Farage is, I won’t be voting for him, and neither will any of you unless you live in Clacton.

vegansrock Sun 09-Jun-24 16:02:18

Camilla Tomily predicted Sunak was “on the up” the day before DDay…….

maddyone Sun 09-Jun-24 16:08:33

Sunak has been on the way down since the day he took office. D Day was the final nail in the coffin.

GrauntyHelen Tue 11-Jun-24 11:28:07

Odious creature

PamQS Tue 11-Jun-24 11:34:58

Farage was a nuisance and an embarrassment as an MEP. I hated the idea that we, as UK citizens, were being judged as being no better than Farage!
