What are Labour going to moan about if they win the election?

There might well be a lot of Labourites with a lot of time on their hands if they win the election.

What are they going to do because they won't be able to moan anymore about the state of the country? If the wind blows the wrong way, that’s Conservatives fault, if your local shop is out of bread that’s their fault too - everything is their fault!

Maybe they will study Angela Rayner’s little book on How to Insult Conservatives where she called them ā€œhomophobic, racist, misogynistic scum. Absolutely vile, banana republic. Nasty Etonian pieces of filthā€ and remind themselves what the old days were like.
Even old Corbyn said ā€œwe are going to be the nicer, kinder type of politicsā€. 🤣🤣🤣. What ever happened to that Angela?

Maybe they'll moan about sore losers.

Maybe we will be wondering just how offensive Some People will continue to be

I've only lent my vote to Labour, but I've been studying how some people think they're superior to others and have decided to take a leaf out of their book. I've decided that I'm not going to wonder how offensive some people are because I know I'm superior to them, so they don't matter.

What a daft OP.

What like Angela Rayner? I am never offensive to anybody on here. šŸ™‚

Ladyleftfieldlover Thu 04-Jul-24 20:35:59

Why are people being so mean about Angela Rayner?

Elegran Thu 04-Jul-24 20:38:01

They won't get a moan in edgeways - the air will be so thick with the Tory moans.

Oooh I’m getting so jittery!😬😬😬

Labour will constantly moan about the Tory Government. When anything goes wrong that will be their fall back response.
Just like the SMP in Scotland moan about the Westminster Government and Brexit.

Rekarie Thu 04-Jul-24 21:06:51

They will moan about the mess they have to sort out.

Jane71 Thu 04-Jul-24 21:13:34

I'm really looking forward to a kinder sort of politics, along with a kinder set of postings on GN.

Yes! Everything that goes wrong will be the Tories fault. They’ll dine out on that for years when it all goes pear shaped! 🤣

Just the usual things we middle class woke lefties with posh accents and hidden money moan about I would think - the environment, education, the NHS, gender issues, religion, Europe/Brexit, US politics, the state the Tories left us in - you name it, really, there’s plenty to go at. I won’t be moaning tomorrow though, particularly if I win the election sweepstake as then I’ll be on my virtual Maldives holiday.

It would make a refreshing change!

They might moan about a hung parliament …..

MaizieD Thu 04-Jul-24 21:24:03

I predict that I will moan about Labour's economic policy if the statements they've been making turn out to be true. But then, all the UK political parties sing the same neo-liberal economics song.

As far as I can see, the only leader who has got the economics more or less right is Joe Biden.. Oh, but he's not ours..šŸ˜†

No chance with your choicešŸ˜„šŸ˜„šŸ˜„

If it were easy the conservatives would presumably have been able to sort their huge mess out; clearly our problems won’t be solved in a few months, so if Labour win, they can’t perform miracles and patience will be required while things hopefully improve for us all ( and not just the wealthy).

I can't help sounding posh, I blame the elocution lessons at my (State) grammar school.

It's a British pastime, moaning.

I've booked a virtual trip down the Nile and round the Pyramids, thanks to another Gransnetter. Can't wait.

And that there’s no money left.

Whatever happens tomorrow, I’m going on a real trip to the Galapagos at the end of August.
