Speaking to Democrat voters in America on Facebook who are horrified at the thought of Trump being president again, especially when it comes to women’s rights, even they ask the UK to ‘pray for them’.Americans seem to be so dominated by the church.

They are, Maybee, I have family and friends out there who always ask for prayers for different things.

If the prayers are answered then it's all thanks to God. If not , then it was God's will.

Many of us here in Australia do,too. All the time and especially if someone is ill or suffering.

I am sorry this would be a terrible thing for the USA . There was an article in the Financial Times ( a very conservative newspaper ) that said if Trump follows through with his proposals there will be a depression . This is how dangerous he is !

There is a good film on Netflix at the moment called Sloane. It is set in the 80s and is about a lobbyist (Sloane) who leaves the firm where she works because she is opposed to their stance on the gun laws. It shows the way in which senators are persuaded/coerced to defeat an attempt to change the gun laws by ensuring that everyone who wants to buy a gun must undergo back ground checks.

Nope, not sorry. Trump is a vile man who deserves to be in jail for inciting the Jan riots. He has a woeful attitude towards women, Hispanic people, black people, in fact anyone who isn't him. He lies as easily as he breathes, is corrupt and bankrupt. So you wishing he was back in the White House says more about you than I need to

Trump only believes in Trump, or perhaps it is more correct to say that like every narcissist the point of his life is to try to believe in himself, and devil take anyone who isn't on board with that agenda. I can't believe anyone is seriously discussing this! It was clearly staged. The lad had been on the roof for, some say, 20 minutes, and the security services were not interested. I'm not sure exactly what was going on, and I feel very sorry for the poor man and his family who were collateral damage in all of this, but the whole thing stinks. It's worked really well for Trump, as it was no doubt intended to. As for Biden's call - did he actually know to whom he was speaking? He's so senile he'd have a problem remembering what his phone is! The whole thing is an absolute s* show and scary for the world.

Trump is an opportunist and is now using it to further his ends. It shouldnt change anything, but in the shallow world of US politics and the media it clearly does.
