Every day in every way launch another attack on the Conservatives.
Distracts attention from what Labour are actually doing.

Since when has Reform become the Conservative Party?

Thanks for the warning! I did go onto Reforms website prior to GE, I visited all parties websites and checked out their manifesto!

Of course Farage has form over this.

Cambridge Analytical -one of whose founders was Steve Bannon, a notorious white supremicists and a friend of Farage - was employed by Leave EU of whom Farage was head.

Cambridge Analytica did exactly the same thing by using data illegally obtained - it was used to target individuals in the run up to the referendum. No one knows how much influence this might have had, but we do know that it was entirely illegal.

Farage, it seems is doing the same again, as this site was set up about two years ago and has been operating undetected since.

He will of course gasp in horror when challenged and immediately sort the issue out - but he is a slippery liar, constantly operating on the fringes of legality, particularly where he is using his influence to cause discontent and the Farage riots.

Not on Facebook and not a member of Reform but I have checked the privacy settings on my phone.
I think I have denied apps to share my information.
Pretty sad for Reform to be involved in this mess.

I guess if you go on their website you wouldn’t care. I don’t think this would be the only website to do this, witness the targeted ads that come up after you look at a lot of them. Seems more often than not these days, sadly.

A hidden tracking tool in the website for Reform UK collected private browsing data about potentially millions of people, often without consent, and shared it with Facebook for use in targeted advertising.

In some cases, this included sensitive information that could reveal a person’s political beliefs, such as details of those accessing forms to become Reform UK members, linked to a unique Facebook user ID.

Web archives indicate the tracking tool was in use for at least two years. The party removed it after being contacted for comment last week. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) is examining the case.

Data that could reveal a person’s political beliefs is classed as special category and is subject to stricter protections by law because its misuse could pose “significant risks to the individual’s fundamental rights and freedoms”E
