Elon Musk is going to continue using his clout against the left wing. We know this.
Shame that we couldn’t get over ourselves and use his undoubted skill set to get this country manufacturing or just plain making money.

I think it’s more of a shame that previous govts, from all sides, allowed manufacturing to “die” in our country and rely solely on invisible exports such as financial services

I tried very hard to put my prejudices aside when KS came to power. So be it I said. I genuinely gave him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the country will turn the corner now etc. It’s important to have a working economy and blah…..

Now I won’t even turn on my tv to watch the news. I did pick up on Elon Musk refusing to engage with the UK. So much for our global influence and trade. There’s something a bit weird do we think?

Maybe that’s the “fear”

I don’t see he has anything to gain.

I do respect his financial acumen and his huge achievements but there’s just something about him. I feel the same about Lord Sugar.
