Years ago when I worked with ex-offenders and helped with their rehabilitation in the community the sex offenders were (almost) universally kind, thoughtful and helpful. They tended to have great social skills.
They will undoubtedly appear to be good neighbours and co-workers. They will be the sort of people you will go to in an emergency. I honestly don't think you can tell who the sex offenders actually are.
Unfortunately, as Iam says: ^Unfortunately, sex offenders look just like the rest of us.
Exactly this NotSpag. Pelicot's family and friends thought he was the perfect husband and father. Thereby lies the danger, one simply can't be sure.
