Seems no one wants these bad boys living in their neighbourhood after all.
Go Trump!

And p.s.
Stock markets surged higher after Donald Trump said a deal between the US and China “will happen” as the world’s two largest economies locked horns on tariffs.

The FTSE 100 and indexes across Europe surged by more than 3pc after the President said he was waiting for a call from China as its leaders “badly” want to agree a deal with the US.

Wall Street stocks also rocketed higher amid hopes for a resolution to the turmoil caused by Mr Trump’s “liberation day” tariffs last week.

Mr Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “China also wants to make a deal, badly, but they don’t know how to get it started. We are waiting for their call. It will happen!”

Good news tonight in my opinion!

Have you seen the film A day without a Mexican?
It’s very funny in parts but with a serous message.
The story is that one day a smog descends on California and all the Mexican workers disappear.
It shows how dependent the population are on migrant workers.

I haven't. I'll add it to my watch list. I have a week until ep 4 of Handmaid's Tale comes out, so I need something.

I laugh when people say, well Americans can do this job. If that were true, we would never have appealed to the migrant workers in the first place. There would be no need to fill these jobs.

When they tried to remove migrant farm workers in the past, they ended up trying to use prison labor because no one wanted these jobs.

Trump is going to freeze the assets of LEGAL migrants who refuse to self deport.

Not illegal migrants. LEGAL ones.

He is going to shut down their access to earned funds and take it the money away from them.

From the article.

"Now, the administration is taking drastic steps to pressure some of those immigrants and others who had legal status to “self-deport” by effectively canceling the Social Security numbers they had lawfully obtained, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times and interviews with six people familiar with the plans.

The goal is to cut those people off from using crucial financial services like bank accounts and credit cards, along with their access to government benefits.

The effort hinges on a surprising new tactic: repurposing Social Security’s “death master file,” which for years has been used to track dead people who should no longer receive benefits, to include the names of living people who the government believes should be treated as if they are dead. As a result of being added to the death database, they would be blacklisted from a coveted form of identification that allows them to make and more easily spend money."

Wanted to update as this came in late.

After the Supreme Courts ruling on Monday, the case of the Maryland man who has wrongly deported to El Salvador is back in district Court. They have ordered Trumps attorneys into court tomorrow with a plan on returning the main to Maryland.

Since this has been to the Supreme Court and back, and unsuccessful for Trump, we are at a point where what happens next will be interesting. He has no more legal challenges. He lost this battle. Will he comply or not. And what happens if he doesnt? I have no idea.

"ORDER Amending 21 ORDER granting 6 Plaintiffs' Motion for TRO, construed as a Motion for Preliminary Injunctive Relief to DIRECT that Defendants take all available steps to facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia to the United States as soon as possible and to file, by no later than 9:30 AM ET on Friday, April 11, 2025, a supplemental declaration. The Court will hold an in-person status conference on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM ET, in Greenbelt, Maryland. Signed by Judge Paula Xinis on 4/10/2025. (kns, Deputy Clerk) (Entered: 04/10/2025)"

I forgot the link. This is the entire court case if you are a legal eagle and understand it all.

Maybe we will gain some skilled migrants from those fleeing the Trump regime. That at least would be a positive.

It would be positive for you, yes. Some of the worlds brightest.

The Supreme Court are cowards. They lay down a principle - this man should be brought home - but then hand it down to a lower court to avoid actioning it.

CNN

"“The Supreme Court’s opinion today gives the administration cover to ‘try’ to bring him home but does not require the federal government – the executive branch – to bring Mr. Abrego Garcia home,” Elora Mukherjee, director of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic at Columbia Law School, told CNN. “It’s a decision that doesn’t protect Mr. Abrego Garcia to the fullest extent that the law should.”

"Stock markets surged higher after Donald Trump said " why would the Stock Market rise on what Trump says. Surely the people running the Stock Market have more intelligence than to believe anything Trump says.

All the people running the stock market do is process trades. The decision to trade is made by stockholders.

The rich ones were selling held stocks last week in preparation for the tariffs. When they tanked, they all bought the dip. It is illegal stock manipulation.

The Government responded regarding this case. They basically said no, they won't return the innocent Maryland man to the US.

We will see what happen next. No one really knows.

But some of what he says, happens.

Government Attorneys are refusing to provide information on the whereabouts of the innocent Maryland man in El Slavador.

"The Trump administration is declining today to tell a federal judge the whereabouts or status of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, the man mistakenly deported to El Salvador last month despite a court order.

“I am asking a very simple question: Where is he?” US District Judge Paula Xinis said at the start of a hearing in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Department of Justice attorney Drew Ensign said he did not have the answer. “I do not have that information provided to me.”

“There is no evidence today as to where he is today,” the judge said later. “That is extremely troubling.”"

I am starting to think the worst has happened. This is scary for anyone in the US. Trumps teams can round people off the streets, no matter their legal status, ship them off to a prison in another country and leave them there. With his obsession with those opposed to him, this could get scary.
