We now have the aid crisis at the focus of world wide attention.

What I can’t believe is the almost total lack of compassion shown on this thread to others who are living in what must be hell.
All war situations are sadly hellish for the civilian population.
I do have compassion for them, just as I feel for the Ukrainians.
My point is that you can’t believe all you see from Gaza as hamas control the narrative there.They love the sympathy and see it as a way to get what they want.
Has anyone read whether there is substantial aid getting in? Or is it just a dribble or nothing. I haven’t read anything today.
Must compassion be spoken of publicly to show one is caring ?
Trump was supposed to end both these disgusting wars but he's just made them worse.
The situation in Gaza is intractable and seems to have a momentum that will just get worse and worse...
I have no solution and so it seems, does no one else.
I think that I have to conclude that at the moment there is nothing getting into Gaza, as I can’t find information to the contrary anywhere.

If Netanyahu were to allow foreign journalists into Gaza then we would get a fuller picture wouldn't we?

OK I have found a dribble of information.
So 500 trucks minimum a day are needed. There is thousands of tonnes of aid sat on trucks waiting to be able to enter Gaza and distributed, so it is not because of shortage.
No food, medical aid, food, water was allowed in for about 75 days, and that on top of a far from generous amount of food being able to enter prior to that.
Israeli Times has reported a little under 500 have been allowed to enter Gaza during the past week.
CBS has reported that only 100 trucks have so far been allowed to enter.
Sky is reporting that 200 trucks have entered Gaza, but only 90 of these have been distributed.
Clearly the picture is muddled, but I suspect the truth is somewhere between the highest and lowest figure.
But whatever is the true figure it is only a drop in the ocean compared with what is needed and is waiting at the border.
How many times does it have to be said that the hostages could and shoukd have been freed at the start of March, months ago, if only israel had not torn up the agreement they made.
If only Israel allowed foreign journalists into Gaza, we Woukd not have to depend on independent Gazan journalists, who risk their lives daily, many of whom Have been killed. They can only be afraid of what independent journalists would see? And report?

You have doubts about the info which has been coming from
Hamas ? The number of dead children given by Hamas government?
We wouldn’t get a fuller picture of the truth if any journalists were allowed into Gaza.Hamas would control them, as to where they could go, who they could see and who they could talk to.They would only get the hamas view.IDF cannot go in just anywhere to escort and protect journalists. Where would they all live and eat? All it would do at best is to cast a heap of doubt on anything at all.The journalists would be at the mercy of hamas both in the guise of innocent civilians feeding them false information and at risk of being taken as hostages.
So what about the reports coming from both the aid agencies and from those medical staff, who are not Palestinian, who were in Gaza working prior to the atrocities, are their reports not to be believed?
You understimate the skill of Journalists. They understand manipulation, and can work around that. What they can't work around is being assassinated by IDF snipers.

That’s the whole problem, some will be true ( doctors and medics working there seeing injured and dead) but that’s all they will see.They don’t know which injured or dead man is hamas or any circumstances.
Nobody will deny that medics have had a hard time of it seeing so many injured people and distraught relatives.
