Oh Lordy, what now …this is scary news and now what happens..

Don’t forget that Iran have sleeper cells across the world, they are a dangerous regime with no thought to women, girls or gays.

We should all pray that the USA have pushed back their nuclear programme by more than a few weeks…

David49 Wed 25-Jun-25 09:17:16

Apparently as little as 25kg of 90% enriched uranium is needed to make a bomb it’s probably been dispersed in sealed casks to a dozen different locations.

This war is far from over ALL the evidence point to Iran actively making a nuclear weapon, the war will end when Iran gives up its nuclear programme.

Maremia Wed 25-Jun-25 09:17:20

Those Trump advisors, have you examined their experience and credentials?

LizzieDrip Wed 25-Jun-25 09:18:00

It has poked the 'bear' very hard, and made it ony more determined than ever that it needs nuclear bombs to defend themselves. Official estimates is that it has delayed it by a few months at best

Absolutely Claremont.

By bombing Iran, Netanyahu and Trump have given Iran the justification to say they need a nuclear deterrent, as a defence.

The treatment of women in Iran is of no importance what is of much importance they want to demolish Israel and all Jews

David49, Iran was on the verge of signing a nuclear constraint deal. They had signed a deal years ago, but Trump tore that up, being the great statesman that he is.
Now, Netanyahu jumps in and starts attacking Iran?
Why?
To stop the new deal.
Trump tries to destroy Iran's nuclear capability. He fails.
Why would Iran ever try to come to the table again?
I wish they would, but I am not Iran.

Apparently the big bombs were used. Trump is claiming complete obliteration.

I doubt it.

But if he is correct - then job done. Everyone can go home and peace reigns.

Official news now that the bombs sealed off the entrances to 2 of the facilities, but did not collapse underground infrastructure.

It has poked the 'bear' very hard, and made it ony more determined than ever that it needs nuclear bombs to defend themselves. Official estimates is that it has delayed it by a few months at best.

Hence my comment about using the smiley/happy emoticon
NOT being appropriate in the context, at all. This is VERY serious.

It isn’t a bear, more like an angry squirrel.
What don’t people understand about the fact that Iran were already going hell for leather to acquire nuclear in any case.
‘Official news’ hmmmm, there really isn’t any you know, as only the Iranians actually know and won’t tell the truth about.
There aren’t any better bombs for the job than the ones the US planes dropped, so hard to believe Iran will be able to clear rubble in a matter of weeks in all the sites targeted.
If they don’t allow inspections then there will have to be more attacks.
And I will add again, in case you’re in any doubt ,that you don’t control posters and emojis.
I was and am, very pleased that the Iranian nuclear threat to Israel and other countries is, a least for a while put back, especially if they were to allow their proxies to get their hands on them.

If their intentions were peaceful why would the refuse inspections, why try to hide the factory deep inside a mountain, far too many Iran sympathizers on here, Iran has not been attacked for 30 yrs plus they are pursuing an Islamic fundamentalist campaign funding terrorists world wide, do you really want them to have nuclear weapons.

I agree with you David49

Iran is underhand and dangerous, as are the puppet terrorist they bank roll and arm.

Did you read the link put up by RinseandRepeat ?
If you had then you would know that the scenario about Iran and its uranium enrichment programme was a very real threat.
They weren’t about to show any restraint at all, or sign anything or to allow inspections they were and are intent on going full steam ahead.
I really do wonder about all the sudden support on here for a regime that is so malign, could it possibly be because they are a sworn enemy of Israel🤔 and if not that reason, then what?
They fund terrorism all over the world including the UK, it’s thought that they fund the newly to be proscribed Action Palestine amongst many others.
They actually set up hezbollah, heavily funded hamas and the Houthis, they are a real and present danger to their own citizens.

It would seem so by the replies on here wouldn’t it?

Whatever you think, whatever you believe, one thing is for certain, and that is that it is NOT FUNNY.

It’s not funny because Israel may decide to use nuclear weapons, a non aggressive Iran is a much preferable alternative

… and that would be ok?

Oreo Wed 25-Jun-25 09:55:49

And what comments other than that do you bring to this situation with Iran Bea65?

No it’s not OK a non nuclear peaceful Iran is much preferable

AGAA4 Wed 25-Jun-25 10:17:07

I doubt many want Iran to have nuclear weapons but I fear that they will have fairly soon.
The attack by Israel and the US will mean that Iran will know they have to as both those countries have them.

By being concerned that the attack by the US and Israel on Iran has put us all in more danger does not mean I support Iran.

Anniebach Wed 25-Jun-25 10:23:53

Iran wanted nuclear weapons before 13th June , as usual criticism falls on Israel

Even I agree with this, if Iran does get a nuclear weapon all the west is under threat

I’m afraid I agree. Frankly I don’t agree with any country having nuclear weapons, it’s not a deterrent, it’s a status thing!

I don’t support Iran’s regime, but then again I don’t support many “regimes” in particular those against women and homosexuals, nor do I support war!

Cossy Wed 25-Jun-25 10:35:11

It’s not Israel Annie, it’s Netanyahu, who himself is a danger to his own people, almost as great a danger as Hamas are to Israel and Gaza.

AGAA4 Wed 25-Jun-25 10:42:56

We are already under threat. The UK government has said we must "prepare for a war scenario" today.

Iran is already active in the UK and we must strengthen our ability to cope with biological warfare among other threats.
Russia has been seen patrolling round our waters checking undersea cables. We can't forget about them.

The attack on Iran will mean that their cells in other countries including the UK will be out for revenge.
