It's clear that Netanyahu isn't interested in getting back the hostages. The only aim is to continue this war. They are carrying out that aim by destroying the Palestinians.

Not clear to me , much of the accusations against Netanyahu
in these threads are clear but not of truth but personal hate .
Yes he is not interested in the hostages, it has even been rumored that he encouraged it so he had an excuse to start the war. The aim of the war is not to win it but as an excuse to ethnic cleanse Gaza and take it over as part of Israel.
Anniebach you have accused posters of being pro Hamas. Now you are accusing us of personal hate.
You are sailing close to the wind.
Anniebach do you read The Times of Israel at all?
Would you accuse the poll results in the article below of ‘personal hate’?
www.timesofisrael.com/breaking-with-pm-74-of-israelis-back-war-ending-deal-to-free-all-hostages-poll/amp/
personal hate!!! that's very unfair Annie and lends nothing to the discussion.
I read in The Times Of Israel
Some Jews still attending Festivals in the UK try to crowd surf above rhe hate
Netanyahu withdrew from the ceasefire agreement because of
politics not to continue the war as is constantly repeated here

Anniebach I think you feel deeply about the wrongs committed by Hamas. You are not alone in this.
What do you think should happen now?

Thank you Caleo , yes I feel much grief over the attack by Hamas, some caused by personal reasons,
I fear it’s all out of control now, Israel has many enemies , I do not believe the many allegations made in these threads.
Yes, of course Anniebach, Personal reasons may be at the root of all of our different points of view however much we try to be objective.
The whole international situation is so hard to understand. Do you have any opinion on what should happen next? I mean, perhaps as a Christian what SHOULD happen not what may happen?
There’s no point in anyone saying what should happen as a personal view only and not necessarily what’s best at all.
As for ‘as a Christian’ words fail!

Oh for pity’s sake🤬
If hamas, or what’s left of them, return the hostages and fade into the background then the war would be over. They are entirely to blame for the destruction of Gaza.
I understood that most people consider Israeli actions way beyond excessive.
So I rather think that both Hamas and Israeli bombs hold the responsibility.
Even if Israel can rid Gaza of the Hamas that are there, which is unlikely, other similar groups will gather. We don't know if some have fled to other countries and are even now recruiting.
Meanwhile security services here are worried about the threats and attacks on Jews from Iranian pods. They are increasing since the bombing in Iran.
This must be happening in other countries where there are pods.
Iran won't forget.
I think we have much to fear from Iran. They can attack from within as well as possibly building more nuclear weapons.
Report in The Guardian today online saying that almost 60 MPs have signed a letter calling for the UK to immediately recognise 'Palestinian state', also that Gaza is being 'ethnically cleansed'.
Don't think it is behind a paywall, so the full article is there for all to read, if they wish.
Do you really believe that if Hamas were to faded into the background that would be an end to it Oreo? I certainly don't think so.
It's my belief that this 'war' is a means to an end, to rid Gaza of all Palestinians and not just Hamas Jackiest. Oh for pity's sake what Oreo? We're all entitled to express our opinions here.

So Hamas worked with Israel to start the war , Israel would win the war and all Palestinians would leave Gaza
Jews didn’t fight against the Progroms, didn’t fight against Germany and were given The Holocaust,
Jews were given a State, many who were freed from the death camps fled to Israel, attacked by 5 Arab Countries , now Jews are under attack for trying to save their country by fighting back .
Ladies final yes please
Where have I said that Hamas worked with Israel to start the war Annie?
In the original partition plan for Israel, the area was to be divided into three.
A Jewish State
the city of Jerusalem
and an Arab state.
How much of the original area of land to be given to the Arabs, is still available to them?
Israel was founded 1948.
5 Arab countries declared war on Israel 1948
An armistice in 1949 left Israel in control of more territory than the UN partition plan had called for, so Israel gained from the 1948 war.

So much land already lost to the Paletinian population, and now the plan is to take away the little that is left.
