Good news. Jimmy Kimmel has been restored to his show.

I read that Disney, the parent company of ABC, lost $3b because do many people cancelled services in protest. I have no idea if that is true or not as I didn't care to look it up. I do know a lot of people said they cancelled their service.

I know Target is still reeling from the continuing boycott, so I could believe the cancellations have hit Disney hard.

The most important thing is that the man did nothing wrong, he didn't say anything remotely horrible and should never have been removed.

What sort of person uses a memorial service, funeral, wedding, or for that matter any event dedicated to one person, to promote themselves. Yet Trump has said the JK show being taken off air was nothing to do with the White House; it was about ‘bad ratings’.

I’m sure they were honoured by his presence ronib. I’m sure they were not honoured by his behaviour. You’re right, it’s not something that has happened in the UK, our politicians all have at least have a sense of common decency. I really think you are quite wrong to defend this behaviour. I’m not speaking from a political perspective, but from one of honouring the dead at a service designed for that purpose.
