4 of the 5 conditions are fulfilled.

UN report.

Netanyahu has a bloody nerve, he is now accusing Egypt of imprison big the Palestinians in Gaza, because Egypt is refusing to accept mass expulsion of these people from their land.

Egypt has 9 million refugees in its borders. How on earth can it possibly take any more? Blimey we think we are badly off!

Egypts refusal is because it quite tightly refuses to be complicit in the ethnic cleansing of a whole population from its own land.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Sept-25 07:49:54

That should read ……. Egypt of imprisoning…..

Babs03 Fri 19-Sept-25 08:46:19

Egypt knows that any refugees will have no right to return so as you say WWM2 they do not want to be complicit in ethnic cleansing.
I was not aware they have that many refugees. I know that Lebanon have over a million - mainly Syrians - and Lebanon has no economy or reliable electricity supply or clean water.
Yeah, puts our migrant crisis in perspective.

Babs03 Fri 19-Sept-25 08:55:45

I just wonder how those who feel it is ok for Palestinians to be displaced stand on ‘the no right to return ‘ rule.

During the first mass expulsion of Palestinians (Nakba) 750000 were expelled and have remained as refugees ever since.
There was further expulsion in 1967.

Each time the Israelis stole the land from its owners and settled illegally.

Smotrich has declared Gaza a "real estate bonanza. We have done the demolition work now we need to build".
This has been the plan from the start aided by the US. Trump only thinks in money and Palestinian lives have no value.
It's sickening that they are taking over the land belonging to the Gazans and have killed 65000 to fulfil this aim.

There is a suggestion by the UN that the actual level of deaths is far larger

Today at the press conference with Trump, it was good to hear Starmer reiterate that the U.K. will recognise the Palestinian state.

It was even better hearing Trump reminding journalists about the atrocities by hamas that started this conflict.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Sept-25 09:11:49

oreo what do you think should now happen to the Palestinians?

Wyllow3 Fri 19-Sept-25 09:11:53

My heart bleeds. When it's on the news, it's the hardest thing in my lifetime I've had to watch.

That is probably true as the Palestinians have been part of the 'demolition' process.

It has to be far greater, there are countless bodies buried underneath the rubble.

Wyllow3 Fri 19-Sept-25 09:17:46

Im not sorry my image failed. Perhaps the blank says far, far, more.

The Washington Post has posted earlier this month that an idea for Gaza will be a trusteeship administered by the US for at least ten years. It will be turned into a tourism and hi-tech manufacturing hub.
Trump is letting Israel do the ground work for him.

The atrocities by Hamas that started this conflict are no justification for this Genocide Oreo and that isn't why Trump's supporting Netanhyahu. It's all about making $$$$$$'s.

AGAA4 Fri 19-Sept-25 10:00:29

The US has vetoed the sixth call by the UN for a ceasefire.
Pakistani ambassador has said "the cries of children should pierce our hearts".

A ceasefire would interfere with bigger plans for Gaza.

Trump was involved in 2023?, Netanyahu didn’t start the war to avoid being prosecuted?

Even if there is a change of leadership in Israel now, they will have a huge amount of work to convince the world that they are no longer a pariah state, and history will demand that the truth is told about the whole period which will not be kind to Israel.

Anniebach Fri 19-Sept-25 10:24:30

And Hamas will be granted a peace prize

Babs03 Fri 19-Sept-25 10:30:27

Anniebach

Please drop the ‘you hate that the Israeli government are committing genocide so must be supporting Hamas’ line Annie.
It really isn’t like that and I think you know this.

Gfplux Fri 19-Sept-25 10:33:49

We are all complicit it this Genocide. However only the IDF soldiers and the Israeli politicians with be put on trial.

Where would the trial for war crimes take place? Nuremberg?

As most of Hamas have been killed perhaps the few remaining members will have their trial held separately.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 19-Sept-25 10:34:49

And Hamas will be granted a peace prize

How very silly

Anniebach Fri 19-Sept-25 10:41:49

I post my views and opinions as do all who post here

Smileless2012 Fri 19-Sept-25 11:05:11

Just as silly as Trump being granted one Annie.

Netanyahu's complicity in allowing the attack to happen remains a question yet to be answered.

Saudi Arabia signs mutual defence pact with nuclear armed Pakistan after Israel attacks Qater.
Is that another ally lost to Israel?
