The Holocaust was not result of war

Peoples have been persecuted and killed in large numbers for their religion and being different for millennia Anniebach. I’m not going to argue about it, it’s factual, and largely forgotten by future generations whose people were not directly involved.

Yes Casdon but the holocaust carries such significance because of the organised, recorded, well planned attempt to wipeout the Jewish people.
I’m not dismissing or denying the other groups targeted but the Jews were a special case. Dehumanised, othered thousands of years of anti semitism, pogroms with Jewish people driven from their homes

Lest we forget

I know Iam64, I’m in no way denying how horrific the treatment of the Jews was, and is. I’m just being realistic about the impact that will have into the long term future.

I’m sure we have similar views on this. I confess to being horrified though that the holocaust is still denied

I am not too sure that The Wiki is accurate with its numbers. How would the millions of dead be counted I wonder all those centuries ago? The Wiki has also not entered the 6 million lost in The Holocaust. I wonder why?

Correction The Wiki has listed The Holocaust under genocide from 1941 to 1945.

Think about the Drama Triangle.

What is that?

It is a theory of how humans behave. Victim, persecutor, rescuer. One can become the other.

So, with the correct input or motivation, people can change from one to the other.

And in different circumstances the same person could present as all three, at different times.

Likewise most Jewish people are not members of the Israeli Cabinet.
