Mr Trump Can't Shut This War Down........

No Casdon - Iran has missiles with a range of 4000 km which can hit London. Whether it manages 10 Downing Street we shall see. Turbulent Times blog today.

Turbulent Times today makes the point that the Uk will have to go cap in hand to NATO and the USA for missile protection systems in the event of missiles attacking London.
One positive outcome will be regime change in the UK ….

Apparently the longest range Iranian missiles can’t reach the UK AGAA4, their capability is 3000 km maximum. They can reach as far as Germany. They are only supposed to have those with maximum capacity 2000km.

Whilst I’ve supported Starmer, My fear has always been that something would happen that meant it became impossible not to retaliate.

According to a war veteran on BBC this morning Trump is losing this war as Iran has control of the Strait of Hormuz.
He said the only way would be to send in troops on land but that would be almost impossible.
The other worry is that Iran have missiles which can travel thousands of miles and could hit London. We have little protection against them. This was a shock when 2 missiles almost reached Diego Garcia.
Iran has said we are its enemy now. We can't be half in and half out of the war.

America has attacked or invaded China on a number of occasions whereas China has never attacked or invaded America. Funny isn't it that America is so often the aggressor. Trump is going to start another world war if he doesn't back off from threatening Iran and Iran is no closer to regime change. What a surprise. It was totally predictable.

The US have just degraded Iran’s missiles along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz.

Do you believe all the Trump propaganda ?
He is a conceited liar.
Don’t forget Viet Nam .
That war was won by villagers with no sophisticated weaponry.
No matter what he says he has not won.
What he has done is kill innocent school children.

won? It's appalling. I fear Iran will tip into a worse state if Trump backs off ( for want of a better word)

Why can't Israel be content with what they have?

Not forgetting Russian and Chinese support for Vietnam? Syracute

I will never, ever forget Vietnam - the war where Trump dodged the draft, and where Hanoi was practically razed to the ground and 10% of the bombs never went off and still farmers or children are finding them (it was on Channel 4 tonight where a US war veteran, shocked, returned to defuse them for decades).

Coward Trump is now repeating this.

Well, if people and countries who don't like Netanyahu's policies decide to boycott goods from the country, that won't help the economy.

A response to your statement that Trump was alienating his allies. He hasn’t alienated Israel . lemonjam

Is Israel an ally or a dependant? A semi-desert country the size of Wales, with no oil, it punches above its weight due to USA £££.

You obviously don’t know anything about Israel.

I am in no way defending Netanyahu and his recent actions but yes, Israel is an advanced, productive country, exporting fresh produce despite desert areas. It was doing really well, exporting diamonds, precious metals, pharmaceuticals, electronics and many other goods at least until recently.

I'm not sure what the present situation is with regard to exports.

Okay LemonJam.
I think it’s with some justification that Trump has joined with Israel to try to counter Iran. I think there’s no point in continuing with this particular conversation. Iran is happily killing its own young men and I hope one day that normality is restored to it too.

This is what I said ronib "He has escalated claims of 'treason' and made threats left right and centre to his allies".

Netanyahu is Trump's partner in their joint war. Trump has indeed made threats to multiple allies and playing semantics doesn't detract from that fact. I stand by my post- which was in response to your various comments about Trump.

Thanks for your posts here LemonJam. I’m catching up after a busy day, Trump appears to have alienated any allies. Netenyahu is making Israel his partner in crime in an illegal war

valdavi- 18.16 - I agree Israel relied on US support/resources in this Iran strike.

Trump keeps complaining that now there is no-one to negotiate with in Iran.
Israel keeps bumping off the leaders of the Regime.
Does anyone see a deliberate strategy here, and I don't mean attempting regime change?

Great post Lemonjam.

ronib: "Trump is acting with integrity while so many countries pretend not to notice".

ronib 9.29: "That’s not exactly what Trump said … foxie48 - more like the cowards left the USA alone to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear power . So having done the hard work, it’s up to the cowards to protect the Strait of Hormuz as the USA doesn’t need it …."

ronib 17.10: ' Trump hasn't alienated Israel who is a partner in the USA in the war"

We all do know the Israel is acting with US in their war! Your previous posts were about Trump and posters responded to your comments about Trump.

Trump hasn’t alienated Israel who is a partner with the USA in the war. Israel has announced intended increases in attacks on Iran. And so it continues. Of course if Trump steps back, it doesn’t mean Israel will.
Iran continues to kill its own dissidents.
