I have some sympathy for Harry. I mean, would I swap places with him? Not for all the money in the world. The day baby Prince George was brought out on the hospital steps I said how sorry I felt for that baby. Just born and his whole life is mapped out for him already. No thank you. I prefer choice and living a more hidden life.
Members of other European Royal families have chosen to give up their royal privileges and live as private citizens - mainly in the US.
It is only Prince Harry who has tried to have his cake and eat it, walking away from the responsibilities of life as a member of the Royal family, while clinging on to all privileges and attention that go with being royalty and actively doing everything he can to stay in the news.
Living at a level that he cannot sustain from his private income, but needing to keep staging stunts to attract attention and earn money and demanding the police protection of a working royal when visiting this country.
