Personal story, talked to my sister in law last night who lives in a deep red county in Texas who is now anti-Trump. As is my MIL apparently.

Their final straw? They lost food stamps. That was it. They were finally harmed by their choices and now want out.

She then ended the conversation telling me about how the government caused the July 4th Texas flood by cloud seeding. Sigh.

I think we are going to see Texas go blue. It was getting closer to purple the last 2 elections.

If we are allowed to vote.

Anyway, am glad to hear that your SiL and MiL have turned against Trump. And of course hitting voters in the pocket is what loses the faithful followers every time.

Might I say it’s about time Americans realise reality even though only when it has affected them.
It didn’t take most of the rest of the world any time at all to judge Trump first time round and second is no better. The man is a joke, though not an amusing but a dangerous way. He has made the US a laughing stock and has to be the most inarticulate and ‘very very bad’ president ever.
What anyone can see in him is completely lost on most sensible people.

You have an election coming up, it would be utter madness to re elect this individual or any of his cohorts for yet another term.
