How do I eradicate it? confused

Ana Thu 29-Oct-15 19:37:57

Guilty of what? thlconfused

(and if you've been 'away', how did you manage to post on other threads but ignore this one!) Weird...

Indinana Thu 29-Oct-15 19:35:36

LSS? thlconfused

LuckyDucky Thu 29-Oct-15 19:22:01

OK nina and bella We've been away' and guilty as charged.

LSS, I regularly email a firm friend and, find I usually need to delete at least half blush

Thank you to those who spared time to comment smile

Ana Mon 26-Oct-15 18:26:48

Well, she's gaily posting away on other threads, so that must be it, Elegran smile

ninathenana Mon 26-Oct-15 18:20:14

I suspect your right Elegran

Elegran Mon 26-Oct-15 18:15:57

Maybe she just threw a pebble into the pond and stood back?

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 18:08:37

Niina. smile

ninathenana Mon 26-Oct-15 17:57:31

Sorry Bella I understand your reference to PIN now. I was being slow, of course your right but as so many people make the mistake, including me smile it didn't register.

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 17:48:32

roses. grin

Ana Mon 26-Oct-15 17:46:30

Hmm...perhaps the OP thought tautology meant something else and is too embarrassed to come back and admit it! grin

rosesarered Mon 26-Oct-15 17:43:09

Another surreal thread! grin Could the OP come back and explain, or does the answer lie in one too many gin and tonics one evening ( guilty of that myself sometimes.)

ninathenana Mon 26-Oct-15 15:52:04

I did explain on page one what tautology is.

ninathenana Mon 26-Oct-15 15:50:22

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I know what a PIN is but I didn't see how it related to tautology confused

Ana Mon 26-Oct-15 11:16:39

grin

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 11:15:46

Well she's still Ducking the issue hmm

Alea Mon 26-Oct-15 11:13:58

Nope, checked and it doesn't/isn't confused

Alea Mon 26-Oct-15 11:11:53

Crimes can be "heinous" can't they? Maybe " heinous complaint" is tautological. (Bit slow today)

Ana Mon 26-Oct-15 11:02:44

Yes - I still think it's something to do with tortoises. Perhaps LuckyDucky has caught a hideous complaint from one...?

(You're right roses - 'a heinous complaint' doesn't make sense)

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 11:01:27

Anglicised version of the word ?

Galen Mon 26-Oct-15 10:58:07

Surely, the study of cakes would be torteology?

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 10:44:19

Either that, or as someone suggested, she's into tortology, aka the study of continental cakes. Perhaps she's over indulged since she posted, and that's what's keeping her away ?

Galen Mon 26-Oct-15 10:39:00

That would make her a tortfeasor

Galen Mon 26-Oct-15 10:36:17

Isn't a tort a legal term? A wrong I think.

rosesarered Mon 26-Oct-15 10:25:55

I am completely in the dark here..... How could this be a heinous complaint?

Bellanonna Mon 26-Oct-15 10:21:48

Maybe she's asking the wrong group of people about her heinous complaint ?
