I might be alone in this but when I hear someone say the Queen my thoughts immediately go to the late Queen.

Me too!
She was there for my whole life from when I can remember, at maybe 4. I’m only just getting used to having a king!

In my mind, Camilla is no more Queen than the Duke of Edinburgh was King.

Being old-fashioned, I believe the princess of Wales can actually be referred to as Princess William, in the same way as Mr George Smith's wife used to be referred to as Mrs George Smith.

They, (the BBC) also refer to Princess Catherine, which she is not. She is Catherine, Princess of Wales.
Diana was also not Princess Diana; if she were alive she would be Diana, Dowager Princess of Wales or Lady Diana, her correct title.
I think you can only be born a Prince or Princess, the child or grandchild of a King or reigning Queen. Andrew and Harry (pronounced Meghan) insisted on royal titles for their children; Anne and Edward did not.

Lady Anne not Lad Anne!!!

Maybe it is getting older or more pedantic but it really annoys me when the BBC get it so wrong> Keir Starmer's wife is Lady Starmer or Victoria Starmer but NOT Lady Victoria Starmer. That would only be correct if she was the daughter of a duke, earl or marquess. My stepfather was knighted and my mother used to get furious if people called her Lad Anne Jones (not her real name by the way) instead of either Lady Jones of Anne Jones. The BBC should know better.
