Hello everyone and thank you for all your helpful hints on how to settle my rescue cat Henry IIIV. We have made great progress this week he is lying on the sofa next to me as I type this, taking up more than his share of room.
We let him out into the garden, nervous at first but it didnt take long for him to get confidence. He also came back when I rattled the dish of food.
He still can be a bit tempermental but each day there is improvement.
He is even tolerating the grandchildren. Oh and just to add that he now demands Sheeba cat food, as I have spoilt him already. I have just been sucked into a life of slavery to a feline.
